interesting she giving up casey to Marilyn/john to look after

I thought maybe kyle was most top choice

so I guess nate/kats talk didn't really help billie

There could be any number of reasons that Ricky leaves Casey with Maz & John instead of Kyle. He could either be busy running Angelo's or maybe by this time he's split with Phoebe again (because of Ash) so maybe's he's gone away to clear his head.

From reading the story in TV Week it sounds like she leaves Casey with Marilyn because she feels guilty about burdening Kyle with taking care of Casey so much.
