To complicate matters, Hanna is being stalked by fellow student Travis (Luke Kleintank), until she learns he is hiding a secret that may change her life. Meanwhile, Toby continues to be manipulated by "A," dangling insight into his mother's death. It gets really crazy. There's a point where you can't believe it. There's a definite shock factor going on. That's a joke, right? No one could seriously believe their relationship, in the context of the show, is dangerous, or even all that complicated, in the slightest. When was Ezra abducted for dating Aria? Or in an accident caused by A? Or shot for protecting his girlfriend's friend? Dangerous and complicated are not the right words to use for these two.

Why would they be involving Paige, they don't need Paige when they have Caleb and Toby's awesomeness, which is either dragging Spencer down in his pointless storylines or getting involved in other people's.

The only thing that's complicated and dangerous about Ezria's relationship is if they do a triangle with them and cake. And of course Spoby will be getting another sex scene. Honestly with all these pointless guest stars and pointless storylines, if this Paily stuff we're getting doesn't live up to the hype like 3b I'm gonna be pissed.

I don't even get people calling Toby's story line pointless now, seeing as whether people like it or not, the chances are it is very relevant based on the blonde girl comment (whether that is stupid or not, it's already been mentioned on screen)

Just seems pretty pointless to say something that probably is relevant isn't just because you don't like it, and honestly, if there is no Alison connection there and it is something else, then that's on the writers and not the characters.

My issue with them not involving Paige has actually got very little to do with Toby and Caleb and more to do with the fact that once again, the writers are sidelining her in something that she deserves to be involved in and from what we've seen, would want to be involved in because she loves Emily just as much as Toby and Caleb love Spencer and Hanna. I'm sick of Paige as a character and Lindsey as an actor not getting the same opportunities that the boys do, especially when there is no good reason for her not to be involved and, imo, it would be a lot better if it was the three of them.

A love triangle between Ezria and cake would probably be one of the most interesting stories they have until the writers decide to actually give them something relevant to do. His being an adult doesn't mean he can't be involved in the mystery - why can't the writers see that?

I was talking about the 3b thing of Toby being on the A team which turned into a damp squib. I haven't watched the last few eps so I've got no idea what's going on with him now

I do get sick of the writers sidelining Paige cause it's like what's the point in her knowing about the A team if she only gets involved in that actual plot once in a blue moon? Fine Paily are working on there future stuff this season and that's great, but I want Paige more involved with the other characters. As for Ezra I don't know & honestly I don't even think the writers themselves know.

I don't think him being on the team was irrelevant, because it told us a bit about some of the characters - Mona, Spencer, Melissa, Emily, red coat to an extent (because she must have known what Toby was up to), the one person it didn't tell us anything new about was Toby (we already knew he was protective, imo

), which is typical of this show.

I just think that as he was always good from the beginning, we should have ALWAYS known that, aside from saving us from the ridiculously OOC flashback and the 'evil face', we could actually have got some insight on the inner workings of the team and seen what he had to do and how he was actually helping. The writers messed that up. It was relevant, but it could have been used in better ways.

I don't see why Paige can't do both. She can talk about the future with Emily and team up with Toby and Caleb. The team up with the guys will end when Caleb leaves anyway (probably after this one episode), so why not have Paige involved too so it doesn't have to. Paige and Toby could continue when Caleb leaves, and maybe Toby could actually apologize for almost framing her - he does know how it feels, after all.

The writers seriously need to work out what to do with Ezra. They always promise that something is coming up for them and then nothing ever comes of it.
