Rachel Bilson leads a stellar ensemble cast in this fish-out-of-water comedic drama about small-town living, big city attitudes and complicated love triangles. It’s been nearly two years since Dr. Zoe Hart (Rachel Bilson) moved to BlueBell, Alabama, and shook up life in this small town. Now Zoe navigates between bad boy Wade Kinsella (Wilson Bethel) and good hearted George Tucker (Scott Porter), while Lemon Breeland (Jaime King) achieves her dream of being a business owner – even if that business is The Rammer Jammer, and her mismatched partner is Wade. Zoe’s best friend and landlord, Mayor Lavon Hayes (Cress Williams), has finally gotten over Lemon, finding happiness with AnnaBeth (Kaitlyn Black), complicated by the fact that she is Lemon's best friend. And Zoe’s associate, Dr. Brick Breeland (Tim Matheson), pursues love, but his daughters won't endorse his new fiancée. Zoe’s love life is still a mess, and she’s not sure what the future holds in store for her, but we know it will be juicy and full of fun.

After an unplanned encounter, George (Scott Porter) and Lemon (Jaime King) try to avoid each other, but it is more difficult now that they are business partners. Ding-dong-ding-dong! Do you hear that? Nope the wicked witch isn't dead, those are wedding bells ringing in Bluebell! Grab something old, something new, and something borrowed and blue, because the season three finale of Hart of Dixie is going to feature a wedding! Camille Guaty is in 2 episodes of Hart of Dixie (315 for sure). [source]
Question: Please tell me that Joel won’t be around for the entire season of Hart of Dixie! Joel and Zoe are so boring together. She belongs with Wade, or at least someone who isn’t a total snooze. —Jamie
Ausiello: He will not be around for the entire season. No promises about Zoe and Wade though (wink-wink, nudge-nudge.) [source]
Claire: Is there any hope for my Zoe and Wade getting back together on Hart of Dixie?
Wouldn't that be wonderful? Out lips are sealed and we threw away the key, but we can tell you that episode 20 is called "Together Again." We can practically hear the Zade fandom excitedly hyperventilating in unison right now… [source]
Barry Watson recurs as Davis Polk, a southern gentleman who is handsome, quick-witted, and a little bit shy. Unfortunately, it looks like we're going to have to wait in line for a shot at this new love interest because everyone in town admires Davis and his contagious smile. But here's the big question: Who does Davis like? We can't spill all the beans, but we can tell you that the newbie has a huge crush on one of the show's most desired sweethearts. [source]
Per Robert Buckley's tweet, he has already filmed his second episode of Hart of Dixie as of 2/19/14 (they were filming episode 320). [source]
Someone on a set tour on 2/23/14 (filming episode 320 or table reads for 321) put up a photo on instagram and wrote this in the description: Visited the set of hart of Dixie #hartofdixie #warnerbrothersstudio #bluebell #omg #hod #alsosatnexttojoelatdinner. Speculation is that Joel returns around then, but it isn't confirmed. [source]
I’ve seen recent promo pictures of George and Lemon from Hart of Dixie (which returns this Friday at 8/7c). Are they just working together as friends or is their hope that it will turn into more? —Tracie
I can confirm that George and Lemon will find themselves increasingly in each other’s orbit, and there will be flying sparks. I can’t confirm, however, whether they’re sparks of love or sparks of hate. [source]
Jaime King said that she had an intense love scene with someone who will be a big reveal shortly after she returned from maternity leave. [source]
I still don't want it to be a messy break up. I don't want it to be that Joel is more in love with Zoe and she just isn't there. IMO, I think that they both cling to this relationship for their own reasons that have nothing to do with either of them being the love of each other's lives.
I don't want it to be a messy break-up either. I want them to end because at the end of the day, they just don't want the same things and truly aren't the love of each other's lives.

Oh I am sure they will make it one big tear jerking dramafest for the couple of the year. You know because we are all so vested in them. And they were the best thing since sliced bread.

I think it's important to the story that Zoe realizes that Joel isn't the love of her life and that she's not willing to make a sacrifice like moving away from BB for him. Unfortunately, I think it will take her an episode or two to realize it.

Wow, you guys have been busy this afternoon!
IA with this, but I think once she does get to the self-reflection part she needs to admit to herself that maybe Wade has something to do with the reason she doesn't want to leave BB. It's not just that she loves the town, it's that BB is where her heart is b/c that's where Wade is.
Because even though they're not together, and she claims she doesn't want to be with him, she still does want him in her world in some way and isn't ready to cut all ties. She was on her way to the airport in 3x01 and I think she would have left if it hadn't been for Earl, and she stayed because Earl is Wade's dad, not just any patient.
She didn't stay because she fit in at the parade and enjoyed seeing all her old friends. She stayed because Earl and Wade needed her and she couldn't walk away from them. And she won't be able to walk away this time because Joel is not the love of her life and she will realize that what's keeping her from leaving is not just the town. I hope.

I still fear that there won't be a breakup in 316 and they just decide to keep trying the long distance relationship thing. I don't know how that fits with the spoilers for 317, 318 or the finale though.
