Rachel Bilson leads a stellar ensemble cast in this fish-out-of-water comedic drama about small-town living, big city attitudes and complicated love triangles. It’s been nearly two years since Dr. Zoe Hart (Rachel Bilson) moved to BlueBell, Alabama, and shook up life in this small town. Now Zoe navigates between bad boy Wade Kinsella (Wilson Bethel) and good hearted George Tucker (Scott Porter), while Lemon Breeland (Jaime King) achieves her dream of being a business owner – even if that business is The Rammer Jammer, and her mismatched partner is Wade. Zoe’s best friend and landlord, Mayor Lavon Hayes (Cress Williams), has finally gotten over Lemon, finding happiness with AnnaBeth (Kaitlyn Black), complicated by the fact that she is Lemon's best friend. And Zoe’s associate, Dr. Brick Breeland (Tim Matheson), pursues love, but his daughters won't endorse his new fiancée. Zoe’s love life is still a mess, and she’s not sure what the future holds in store for her, but we know it will be juicy and full of fun.

General Spoilers:
On AnnaBeth - "And, at this point, she has become so integral to the series — as Lemon’s best friend, as Lavon’s girlfriend, and as Zoe’s confidante — that we needed to make sure she was all ours! And she may start her own jam business." [source]

Robert Buckley as Lemon's love interest Peter may be back for more episodes later in the season. [source]

Ryan McParlin tweeted that Carter may return to BlueBell. [source]

McKenna: Gimme anything you've got for Hart of Dixie!
Grab a fan because it's about to get super hot in Bluebell—and no, we're not talking about the weather. Prepare to meet Enrique, a devastatingly attractive poet who is charming, passionate, and incredibly romantic. We'll be seeing quite a bit of Enrique later this season when he tries to win the heart of [Spoiler!] Did you think we would actually reveal the lucky lady? Trust us, you'll definitely want to be surprised for this one… [source]

Grandma Breeland will be back. [source]

Claire: How about something on Hart of Dixie?
Prepare for one of the most epic mug shots in TV history. One of our Bluebell residents will be facing some time in the slammer, and it will cause all kinds of chaos. Seriously, everyone on the Rammer Jammer will be talking about this crime. Curious? Well, let's just say that it involves boys, cars, and stolen property… [source]

Camille Guaty is in 2 episodes of Hart of Dixie (315 for sure, and maybe 314). [source]

Eddie Matos will play Enrique, the "gorgeous" Latino driver for Grandma Bettie Breeland (Maree Cheatham), who is saving money to attend poetry school. Described as passionate, charming and incredibly romantic, Enrique attempts to win the heart of one of the Bluebell ladies. [source]

Question: Please tell me that Joel won’t be around for the entire season of Hart of Dixie! Joel and Zoe are so boring together. She belongs with Wade, or at least someone who isn’t a total snooze. —Jamie
Ausiello: He will not be around for the entire season. No promises about Zoe and Wade though (wink-wink, nudge-nudge.) [source]

Claire: Is there any hope for my Zoe and Wade getting back together on Hart of Dixie?
Wouldn't that be wonderful? Out lips are sealed and we threw away the key, but we can tell you that episode 20 is called "Together Again." We can practically hear the Zade fandom excitedly hyperventilating in unison right now… [source]

Barry Watson recurs as Davis Polk, a southern gentleman who is handsome, quick-witted, and a little bit shy. Unfortunately, it looks like we're going to have to wait in line for a shot at this new love interest because everyone in town admires Davis and his contagious smile. But here's the big question: Who does Davis like? We can't spill all the beans, but we can tell you that the newbie has a huge crush on one of the show's most desired sweethearts. [source]

Tftnt, Tracie.

So did everyone think the L/AB "you threw away a good thing" idea mirrored Earl's speech to ZW? I keep hoping Zoe will listen to herself and realize what she threw away. Surely it will dawn on her eventually. Also, she needs to see that she is just as "broken" as Lavon and needs to fix herself, not rationalize that kind of behavior for him or for her.

'Hart of Dixie' pulled in 1.03 million with a 0.3 rating for it's winter finale according to http://scottstvblog.com/post/7633357...ay-night-shows

I don't know if they were competing against The Olympics. If they did it would have been a rerun of something.

It's hard to be hopeful about anything right now.

They deserve those numbers, which is sad.

Won't be surprised if the ratings are even lower when the show returns

Yeah, I read on another site that NBC is sending The Olympics on a 12 hour delay. People that wants to see the Americans compete has to stay off social media all day to not get spoiled.

They better get used to a .3 because I think that's what it will be getting.

It may have played a small part but I think the 312 Joel show killed it for a lot of viewers.
