Schwartz did say that Michelle Trachtenberg would be back around April and May as troublemaker Georgina Sparks, and Chuck (Ed Westwick) and Blair (Leighton Meester) would remain at the forefront of the show.
"We get that that [relationship] works for people," Schwartz said with a laugh.
He also noted that many of the show's teen characters "graduate at the end of this year -- that's going to be a very big deal and it will shape direction of the show heading into Season 3."

See, I just don't see Dan losing Yale. I think something has to happen where Dan can actually go. And if worst comes to worst, he'll go to his #2 school where they'll offer him some tuition help. I just don't see Dan NOT in college. Him and Blair are the only two characters that just cannot do without college next season. Everyone else can skip college, in my opinion. Not Blair and Dan.

Oh ICA. I dont think he loses college altogether, but I do think he loses Yale, which sucks because he deserves it so much, just like Blair. I think Blair and Dan are the two going to college for sure no matter what, I think the person not going will be Serena, thats why she will try to run away, she has nothing she needs to do because no college...and those Carter and S pics really look like she is trying to run
