I think Blair/Dan being Holly/Paul means something from the writer's point-of-view. You're right in that it's not looking very good for DB but with the amount of build-up we've gotten I don't think the romantic aspect of their relationship will be ignored. They'll explore DB.

I mean, Dan still hasn't even told Blair about his feelings. And we know they have a scene in the airport where Blair is wearing her wedding dress.

We'll see...

Who doesn't want to write for Dan/Blair? Their scenes are like, a different show. Emmy worthy, imo.
