I think the show works best when the girls take the A plots and the guys are supporting. It's part of the reason why I think s3 is doing so well.

Besides keeping the guys down low allows them to remain mature and awesome and I'm practically forced to squee every time they come onscreen.

My favourite run of eps in GG is from 2x12 to 2x15 where C had the A plot and B was in the supportive role

I have to admit that I´m warming up to DV they are the first D and V pair that I liked so that´s a first

Me too. Although I've loved the idea of DV since mid S2. But I'm so glad that they work onscreen and not just in my head

yup, but that was the most interesting SL of the show. Imo.

But I prefer when B hasn't the A plot,since her A plots are always the Queen SL ones.

I can't fault you for loving Chuck too much

I don't mind him being supporting if he is awesome, like in 2.04. I prefer him playing a role in Blair/Serena/Jenny plots as opposed to randomly getting his own guest star arc like Nate/Dan and be segregated from the episode's main plot.

Anita, for me guest star plots (unless they're there to support the main) are a pain

But I do have a soft spot for guest star plots that unite all the regulars (Gabriel, Poppy, Georgina)

Franci, me too. I have never been much into the queen B stuff. Plus, when B was supporting C in his dad s/l, she got meaty stuff too. Whereas when C supports B, it's all about B, which I don't really get but

It doesn't majorly ruin anything for me though.

I can grab if no-one is getting the new thread

Exactly his SL work the best for both. I wouldn't mind a B's A plot if it were deep and gave him good stuff to work with, but at this point CB or C's SL seem the best.

I think it's good that GG has slowed down CB a little. Last season, we had like... tons of CB above our heads

But I agree. Chuck needs a storyline. He's too awesome to become a guest star

Jack needs to come back soon (I never thought I'd say that haha)
