Ausiello: Nov. 14 is the big day. Now, gimme my Snapple!

I thought that was one of the points of SH it's so small. But I guess since Lorelai avoided Luke last season she can do it again, plue they'll always have Paris LOL

ALSO - thanks MA for the spoilers LOL

But MA said the end of the month. Next week is the 18th so is it possible April moves in permanently, or semi-permanently, in 7.06 or what was 7.07?

Michael Ausiello - Ask Ausiello | TVGuide.com

Question: I was in the News & Views section of tvguide.com and on the left sidebar of the page under "Popular Celebrities" I noticed you were No. 1 on the list. You even beat Lauren Graham! Hmmm... can't help but think it was fixed.— Laura Daul

Ausiello: Hmmm… can't help but think you're just jealous. For the record, those rankings are determined by the number of visits to our celebrity pages, and, as a result, cannot be tampered with. Short-story-shorter: Sucks to be Wentworth Miller right about now.

ETA
Question: The ratings for last week's Veronica Mars premiere (3.3 million viewers) look really good to me, but people are complaining about how it was a big drop-off from Gilmore Girls.— Lisa
Ausiello: CW execs were very pleased with those numbers, and that's really all that matters.

Yup, Sandlynn & Secret have been talking about this for a while. That and miscommunication will be their storyline for at least the first 1/2 of the season. I'm down with it, because as Matt has said, all of that will happen, but "Logan loves this girl and knows how special she is." The minute Logan isn't fighting for them, even if they might not be on the same page currently, or isn't prodding her to take a leap with him, I'll get worried.

As for LG's acting, I think it's all a matter of where you're looking from. I thought the rapid banter tonight had her best performance of the season thus far. I think she does better with EH, KB, & KAB, generally, but with lighter material in particular.

I thought the episode was really good. I'm still getting used to the different camera angles and all of that, but it's fine, just something to get used to. I loved the cotillion stuff. One of my favorite moments was when Michel said, "Take me" and Lorelai was all, "Oh, Michel." The scenes at Lukes were funny too. I have much love for Patty and Babette. I loved the scene where Lane and Zach were discussing how they were both freaked out by having a baby and then started making out. Something tells me sex won't be such a big problem for them anymore. Hehe.
Is it sad that I knew what different people's reactions would be to certain aspects of the show?

I haven't rewatched an episode since the tail end of Season 6. I did not record 7.3, I watched it as any other show I watch on TV I'm sort of blase about, flipping channels, grabbing a snack, doing laundry.

In fact, tonight was the first step towards me tuning out. It's sort of sad because I'm actually starting to like Rory's character somewhat again. But, as a longtime fan of Lauren Graham, IMHO, she is phoning this ***** in and I can't blame her.
Alexis...you said it all. I'm amazed to see you even posting in here. I can't remember the last time I saw you in here.

And I think the storyline might move along...I too thought Rory seemed more Rory..but I've never really tuned out until tonight...something was definitely off. Maybe it was me

I'm numb.

Maybe Miss Patty should comfort Lucas in his time of need

ETA - What's gonna happen with Rory and Lorelai being close when she's back at Yale? Oh right she has Chris and PA still LOL

I've enjoyed the fact that Rory is home and we're seeing more girl time. Maybe that is why Rory seems Rory again.

Wrong. Just setting the record straight here. Is it sad how well I still remember "Road Trip to Harvard"? A seriously great episode.

For "pining":
Quote:
LORELAI: So, um, how's the spreading of the news going?
SOOKIE: Well, it worked just like you wanted, with one notable exception.
LORELAI: Ooh, what?
SOOKIE: He's just such a loner lately, the news hasn't gotten to him.
LORELAI: Could you just tell him now Sook, so I can cross this off my list?
SOOKIE: Well, I…ugh, he's coming over, hang on. Hey Luke?
LUKE: Yeah?
SOOKIE: Have you heard the latest news, kinda sad, Lorelai and Max?
LUKE: What about them?
SOOKIE: The wedding's off.
.....
[Luke walks over to Kirk's table and serves him more coffee.]
KIRK: What's this?
LUKE: Refill number nine
KIRK: I thought you said I had to go.
LUKE: You can hang a bit.
KIRK: Really?
LUKE: Welcome to France. Coffee's on the house too.
and also an LL scene at the end:
Quote:
CUT TO INSIDE LUKE'S DINER
[Lorelai walks through the door.]
LUKE: Hey!
LORELAI: Lewis and Clark have returned.
LUKE: Oh yeah, which one are you?

(This scene goes on for some time, Luke apologizes for 'being a jerk" about Max, we get the "what's that word you use, pickleschnitz? ... Schnickelfritz? line and:

LORELAI: Yeah. It's beautiful, and you made it for me, and it doesn't have to be a wedding chuppah. It can just be a beautiful archway in our yard. I'll grow stuff on it.

It may not require them, IYO. Luke didn't appear in The Third Lorelai, as I remember. But the vast majority of eps had LL scenes, both before and after they started dating. Someone with a better mind for statistics than mine could probably give us the numbers.

The writers must have thought the show required LL interaction, or why did they make it such a constant throughout the first six seasons.

Season 7 is batting 2 out of 3 so far. It's too early to call. And btw, I don't think that's why I personally fell asleep during 703, lol. Still trying to figure that one out.

"Dance!" "NEVER!" "Fine." "Okay."

Junkie, we have absolutely nothing in common in this forum. So, sorry, we disagree and continue to disagree. Again, this is a fundamental difference in approach and attitude.

Lauren is not phoning it in. Rory has always been Rory. Yes, the Sophies, are under the impression that The Great Stink may very well be a BRIDESMAIDS incident. Again, we have an ace up our sleeve, named LOGAN HUNTZBERGER.

ETA: For all the personal HATE that I get directed my way. Have I ever...ever...refered to one of you folks as wrong? No. Yet, her you go again, stating Captain is WRONG. He's not wrong. HE has a different perception. Perception is what tears this thread a part. Some of us find it a tad over the top to state that Lauren is phoning it in. Yes, a professional such as LG, that has stated a desire to be a producer on this show in the future...is phoning it in. Yes, people who phone it in, are rewarded all the time in Hollywood. That there's a perception out there that Lauren phoned it in...shocks me.

One last thing; anyone who states that Veronica is not a COUPLE SHOW. Apparently showed up last week for the first time to this show. The entire first mystery of this show is built around the VERONICA AND DUNCAN RELATIONSHIP. Why do you think is now on the show? Veronica is as much a couple show as GG.

Also, if you want to be down, then pick up seasons 1 and 2 on DVD. Last weeks episode was the 45th best episode in the history of this show. Those previous 44 kick much more ass.
