Februrary. So if you're trying to say that JJs were driven off these boards, think again. Consider the amout of threads teh R/L thread used to go through. And then, suddenly, after a run-in with a certain group of people and certain people in power here on FF, it came to a dead stop. But the L/L thread is booming even now. So what group of posters were run out of here?

Okay maybe childish is a bit far but what I don't like about the sides/spoilers are how confortable C&L are getting, when is the crash going to happen and HOW.

IMO in GG fashon it will happen fast but maybe not until Jan/Feb with ep 12 or 13. Look at the past Max was gone in less than an ep, Jason screwed by his father and Richard then Lorelai almost as quick and now Luke in 2 eps losses Lorelai. I think the same will happen for Chris WHEN the crash comes.

However Lorelai had some reason to believe that Anna was leading Luke around by his balls since everything "seemed fine" until Luke told her that Anna went ballistic over Lorelai's participation in the party. Plus hearing directly from Anna about how she won't let Lorelai get to know April until Lorelai and Luke were married. Furthermore, Luke's response when he found out Lorelai went to see Anna compounded that.

I despise Camille Paglia.... Just wanted to add that for no reason other than that I get a viseral reaction when I see her name.

And as for something totally off-topic:

I did not like Studio 60. Amanda Peet had one facial expression throughout the entire episode -- totally unbelieveable in her role -- and the characters, for me, were not compelling enough to overcome the underwhelming setting. After all, putting on a Saturday Night Live-like show is not the White House. I wanted to tell most of them to get over themselves and their self-importance.

Interesting it's Sophies that are responding to caf's post about JJ's leaving. Could that be because.....the JJ's that left are no longer here to respond? Just a thought.

Yes it seems as if we get or let me put it this way we JJs get only bad spoilers but just look at them really closely. They're not good for a Lor/Chris whatever as well.

I mean yes she goes to him and starts something, whatever, the eif, put whatever you want in here BUT we know Luke and Lorelai have two encounters in 7x02 and I bet Luke is going to give her a really big piece of his mind. She is going to realize what she has done at that point big time. She's going to break down and I said that before Lorelai only does certain things if the right button is beeing pushed. So my guess is that whatever Luke says to her, pushes something inside her. Then the cotillion stuff happens, she's being reminded of her past and all the what ifs. Something else must happen in 7x03 that she ends up at Chris' doorstep again.

In episode 4 we have that barn date which might seem good and funny but we also know she's not really comfortable when he asks her to come home with him. That changes however when they get back from bailing Emily out of jail. Again I think a certain button is pushed so she invites him in for the night.

In episode 5 we know they argue before the dinner at the Gilmores. I should have checked the spoilers first but didn't Sherry call in that episodes and wants Gigi to stay for more than a month and Chris just decides to send his 4-year-old daughter alone (yes there's the nanny I know) over the big blue into a foreign country to a stranger ? So there's trouble in LaLa Land because I don't think Lorelai is going to take the news he's sending his daughter to France all by herself very well.

In episode 6 they are in Paris but they have to deal with Sherry and handing over Gigi. Can't remember any spoiler so I'm sorry but I guess even their with the Eiffel Tour in the background, they're not that happy.

In episode 7 we have the Yale thing. We know Chris in uncomfortable around all those proud dads and what they have done for their children. The only thing he can contribute is "I signed the check for the first time this year." and even Lorelai seems uncomfortable especially when they believe Chris is married - to Emily by the way but first Lorelai thinks they were talking about her.

Now the new sides also suggest the image that Chris doesn't have a clue how Rory lives, what she actually does or cares about, who her friens are or what's important, what she wants to do. Same goes for Lorelai even if we don't really see it now.

For me their are so many things behind all of that and yes it's frustrating and it seems as if we only get the happy spoilers for Lor and Chris but just look at some facts behind that. The few I just listed and that doesn't look so happy and funny and appealing at all.

There has to be more behind it. Like I said the buttons need to be pushed and I just hope or believe there is going to be someone or something who's pushing the button and that's why Lorelai is doing the things she's doing with Chris or to Chris - that just sounded

I don't know if this was posted already but there are 2 Gilmore Girls Casting Notices up on NowCasting one look fairly recent (3rd down from the top). One may be the french waiter and the other may be the swim instructor but just thought I would post it.

nice break-down of the first few eps Cap. you're right, we may not have any L/L spoilers except for the two encounters they have but things don't look so good for C/L either.
