Just by his last name you know he's going to be evil. He might redeem himself right before he dies by sacrificing himself for Iris.

Thanks, no surprise there after Flash and Arrow's success, that being said, I'm disappointed in CW's new shows (A Julie Plec show and some other show).

Personally, I'm still waiting for Iris's name to change in the paper because it makes no sense that Barry knows he'll be marrying her for the rest of the series. Even if everyone knows they are endgame, the damn character shouldn't.

I'm actually really tired of the will they won't they thing in every single tv show b/c we know how iconic WA are and how important Iris is to Barry becoming the hero he's supposed to me… And from interviews I've seen with CP, GG and AK it seems like they aren't interested in using those same typical tv patterns in The Flash, example being Iris finding out the truth in S1. There's no reason there can't be a solid WA relationship formed say by mid-end of S2 and then continue on for the rest of the series bc there are so many other trials that could come between them, there are loads of story lines that could make the Flash interesting with them as a unified couple which imo makes more powerful unique television these days..

IA, I'd much rather they not drag out WA getting together a lot longer because there's no question of will they won't they at all to the relationship. They simply will, so the interesting part is what comes after.

Same, they don't interest me at all. I'm only vaguely interested in the spinoff at this point, mostly because of Hawkgirl tbh.

Agree, but I'm pretty much swearing off watching anymore CW shows to be honest. No way am I going anywhere near a Julie Plec show!
I'm only somewhat interested in the spin-off. Some of the biggest reasons is because of Sara and Hawkgirl.

I honestly think the producers/writers saw their faults this season and are looking to change the way things are done.. Thats definitely the way i've interpreted their interviews

Well I do hope we get some time with single Iris and Barry courting her.

lol But yes, I think they can and should be together by the end of season 2. It''d make no sense to drag it out beyond that.

On another note, it does seem like the speculation about Iris helping to free Henry just might come to fruition. I mean, surely that's what was being foreshadowed with that shot of her looking into Nora's death? I hope so.

Definitely think WestAllen should be a go by the end of season 2. I mean, we know already that they pretty much both feel the same. Why deprive us and Barry like that? Don't drag it out.

I agree with you guys, they can't drag WA out. Barry needs her to advance in his powers, so will they won't they doesn't even make sense when their relationship is so integral to the core of the show.

Besides, they're gonna have plenty of chance for angst and drama if they use the comic stories and.... send Iris to the future, have Barry disappear, Flashpoint AU, when Iris gets corrupted by the anti-matter thing...

Yasss, I totally called it. I was happy to see the Nora articles on her computer screen when the episode aired, heh. I just love the idea of Iris "saving" Barry in some way, especially since she was the first (and only) person to believe him all those years.

I want Iris single for the first half of the season, with WA being flirty and going on non-dates. Then they can hook up around mid-season (but god, they better give me the morning after!). And start officially dating by the end of s2. And they should be getting engaged in s3.
