I'm actually really tired of the will they won't they thing in every single tv show b/c we know how iconic WA are and how important Iris is to Barry becoming the hero he's supposed to me… And from interviews I've seen with CP, GG and AK it seems like they aren't interested in using those same typical tv patterns in The Flash, example being Iris finding out the truth in S1. There's no reason there can't be a solid WA relationship formed say by mid-end of S2 and then continue on for the rest of the series bc there are so many other trials that could come between them, there are loads of story lines that could make the Flash interesting with them as a unified couple which imo makes more powerful unique television these days..
