Saw that clip earlier in the day. Poor Barry. I have to say that I hope the writers don't drag out Iris being oblivious for too long because it will probably get annoying, at least for me. lol

I'm just not feeling Barry/Iris. Just find it rather cheesy and cliche.

Yeah, I agree it can get annoying after a while. lol I still hope they do a slow burn between them though. I can't say at this moment that I would want them to get together in the first season. I rather they wait a couple of season at least. These month are going to a pain for me. Thankfully I have a few shows to hold me over till the fall! :D

Oh yes, I am all for a slow burn. And I'm ok with Iris being oblivious at the start but if the writers want to prolong a hook up, I'd rather see it eventually revealed that she knew all along or had some inkling but she was in denial herself or didn't want to entertain the notion of having romantic feelings for Barry. I don't think I'd want a hook up in the first season. Maybe near the end of the season, we see some hint that Iris does indeed hold romantic feelings for Barry, after all.

Those are some good ideas (You helped me think of some ideas) or adding to that maybe not having that notion, her feeling for Barry, because she has never been faced with it then like you wrote her realizing she does at the end of the season. I mean she practically knew him all her life, so sometimes when someone has that person in their life for a long time like those two, something constant, you can be kind of be farsighted about what you feel or how they feel too.

Liking the OTP, can't wait to see more.

Yeah, I ship Olicity and have never liked Oliver/Laurel it just got even more impossible after he slept with her sister AGAIN. But either way I was Team Olicity:

I think they have learned and although we'll see Barry battle with his feelings, we'll get to know the characters, we'll watch their relationship though already built on a foundation they'll allow it unfold. It will be built on friendship and deep care.

I think it's better Iris be oblivious so we can get to know her as a character.

I really don't want a Iris/Caitlin rivalry with fans. There's no need. I'm sure, I'll love them both.

I was just thinking about that. Is there a 'Felicity Smoak' persona in the wings? hopefully they've screened tested the actors. Cause I'm not feeling it in that clip, but will wait and see.

When there are only two female characters on the show sadly there will be a rivalry. That's how it tends to work with female characters and some fans. Its always a competition

Knowing who Caitlin becomes and since I already got a glimpse of her I'm already digging her and feel for her sad backstory especially since she's still wearing her wedding ring. I'm not saying I won't like Iris, but I just want more depth from her than what I've been seeing. She needs to be more than the good girl love interest cause that's boring.

Bingo! Me too. It's a short clip so I'm not making any hasty decisions, but it at least speaks to a friendship (as it should be in the story).
