vices are usually drugs or alcohol. I say liquor as remember the first scene with his dad he was drinking at that function party and also with the party when he retaliated against his dad for having Drew look after him as a 'babysitter." Not just beer - but liquor like whisky or scotch whatever. I can see that or weed but I don't think weed is that concerning personally but heavy drinking is. Smoking can be concerning but I wouldn't think I would be worried about someone smoking pot or smoking in general just by seeing them doing said thing. I think probably Miles comes to school hung over or something like that so there could be a visual that he has a problem. I'm guessing liquor - because everyone knew he drank but like usually when kids drink it becomes a problem and since his dad allows it than it would be easy for it to become a vice.

I'm sure then with this spoiler for the next episode when Tristan stages the intervention and it backfires it probably either because that is the episode where Maya shows up with Zig as well for other reasons and it seems like she is there for the intervention and she probably says something to make it worse. She probably says "MILES!" because he stumbles or something because he is hung over or drunk whatever. The "back off my bf" is probably when this **** backfires I'm guessing it happens in 14x08. He probably gets Zoe, Winston and or the family to get in on this intervention but then Maya and Zig show up so it looks like he told Maya and Zig too.. Or else it causes his dad to abuse him more for drinking and that could ruin his campaign. At least these are my predictions. I also think these two episodes are when Tristan finds out about the abuse while Maya I think she still thinks he has a mental disorder like Cam. I'm guessing she stops by because Miles and Tristan skip school (probably because he is hung over. I bet Tristan stays over or something to help Miles but then he keeps wanting more drinks) so then the next episode he stages an intervention because Miles can't kick it.

Didn't he smoke (can't remember if it was weed or not) when he met Maya the first time, though? I think Miles' vice will be alcohol, too. What about vodka? What if he's mixing pills with vodka? You're right that if he came into school hungover that it'd show more of a push to stage an intervention.

I could also see his dad either denying it is a problem or stuffing him away in a psych ward to keep him from squealing about the abuse (and the alcohol addiction).

Finally a song title from a hip-hop/R&B song instead all these grunge/rock artists. I've noticed the episode titling has gotten a lot better, I can finally associate an episode with the title now.

I'll Be Missing You would make more sense for the episode with Maya having nightmares about Cam since the song is about missing a dead loved one (as opposed to the original I'll Be Watching You by Sting which was about stalking/obsession...but people play Sting at their weddings and ignore the context, lol). Well, with the Zoe being stalked storyline, Sting's version would fit more for this one???

I didn't know about The Police song until I heard the Puffy/Puff Daddy version (which is ironic since I love 80's music and had no idea about "Every Breath You Take"). It's still hilarious that people play that at their weddings, like, what the hell, people? It won't be so hilarious if one of the spouses is possessive, though.

Daaaamn, all of these episode descriptions are scary. I'm so excited, though. We gettin' into Law & Order: SVU territory. Zoe being all cold to Frankie, Frankie leaving the cheer team thing, reveal of Frankie not participating with the nude chat/CP, finding her brother looking at sick porn (maybe)? This is leading up to Frankie having a massive meltdown. Frankie-sets-fire-to-Degrassi Theory getting more traction, yeaaaaah.
