Brooke's evolution, for lack of a better word, is gradual throughout the series. I can honestly say that she, with the exception of Nathan, are the characters who have truly grown up and become a better person. Brooke still has some issues she needs to deal with in regards to her family life and letting people but if you stick with it, I promise her evolution is, in a word, beautiful.

Side note: I'm watching the 5.06 repeat and Victoria just told Brooke "When are you going to grow up," and a second later, Haley said the same thing to Nathan.

I thought that was funny considering what I just wrote about their evolutions.

Nathan and Brooke are the only characters I think with obvious (gradual) changes of the persons they are. If you watch Season 1 and then skip to Season 5, you'd be like, "Whoa. Is that the same Brooke/Nathan?"

Toatly agree with both you and Livvie, Brooke and Nathan's progession throughout the seasons has been amazing to watch. And the STD was complete BS but lets not go there!....

Livvie, I would love to be your fanfic supplier... haha makes me sound like a drug dealer!

I can completly agree. I think that's why I like their characters and one of the reasons that I love their relationships. Brooke has came a long way and deep down I knew she would but it's great to see how great of a heart she has.
