I hope they'll really consider bringing this anime back. It was definitely one of my favorites.

According to some sources, here's what came up:

R= Return/Romance/Ressurection (either one of these three)
S= Super
SuperS= Supers

PGSM is very good and I am enjoying each episode as well as posting on each clip on YouTube. I am up to Act 35 now.

As for the animated one, some posters on YouTube say that the two are not identical for instance, in the animated version, all of the Planets are represented by a Sensei and on the Live Action show its just Venus, Mercury, Mars, and Jupiter. Maybe if there had been another season the rest would have come unless the writers decided the one here were enough.

Anyway, Sailor Mercury turned into Dark Mercury was great. It was a shock to me to see this and how she would turn back to normal.

PGSM follows the manga more. For instance Minako aka Sailor Venus's personality is way different in the anime than in the PGSM. Usagi is also bigger cry baby in the anime.

There are rumors about another season of PGSM happening with different actors and the outer senshi. I hope it happens.

I believe the PGSM series didn't last for more than one season which explains why the outer senshi as well as the Starlights did not appear.

PGSM=Pretty Girl Guardian Sailor Moon. It's a live action series of Sailor Moon that's been aired only in Japan. From some sources, Naoko Takeuchi had some part in this. But anyway, it differs a lot from the anime and probably follows the manga more (I'm not 100% sure on this because I haven't really read a lot of the manga).

Sailor Moon and Sailor Moon R was dubbed by DiC. S and SuperS was dubbed by Cloverway.
