Interesting. I haven't read any of his comics.

Well, the Ancient One is an Asian man in the comics, so Tilda Swinton would be quite a change.

Hope it does well regardless of the Director. Don't really have a preference. Do you?

I haven't seen anything he's directed, so I don't have a opinion either way.

So they're gonna make an Aquaman movie after the Batman v Superman movie introduces him?

I guess you could say that, but he's also in the Justice League movie. That also comes out before Aquaman.

I've seen Saw, Death Sentence, Insidious, The Conjuring, and Furious 7...so I guess I've seen a lot of his movies.

I've seen ''The Conjuring'' & ''Annabelle'' which is about that doll though he didn't direct it. He is going to direct ''The Conjuring 2'' though.

I liked The Conjuring, but I haven't seen many of his other things.

I'm skeptical of the Justice League film because Zack Snyder's Batman v Superman has Batman as an middle-aged superhero, yet he's supposed to be one of the founding members of the Justice League. I know that Snyder was influenced by Frank Miller's The Dark Knight Returns, but he should remember that in that graphic novel, the Justice League had long since disbanded after the US government outlawed superheroes. You can't do the Frank Miller Dark Knight Batman as a prelude to the founding of the Justice League because the chronology is all wrong. Bruce Wayne is a young man when the Justice League is formed. This is why I dislike Hollywood's treatment of comic books, because they have filmmakers like Snyder who think more about what would look cool rather than what makes sense. If you're gonna lead into a Justice League origin story, then you have to use young superheroes. I understand that Snyder loves Frank Miller's work, because I do as well. But you can't use the Frank Miller middle-aged Batman as part of a Justice League origin story because it's not chronologically consistent.

I'm kinda glad we're getting a different kind of Bruce Wayne/Batman. I don't want to see another origin story. Batman Begins was just ten years ago.

It doesn't have to be another origin story, but it doesn't have to be a swan song either. If Superman is just beginning his career, and the Justice League is about to form, then we should be getting a younger Batman at the beginning of his career, some time after he first became Batman. Not a middle aged Batman who is near the end of his career before the Justice League has even formed. It can't just be different, it also has to make sense.

Interesting. I didn't know about this film. That does remind that I need to read The Absolute Sandman comics sometime.
