First of all, I'm really sorry if there's already a thread for Hana Kimi. I searched for it but didn't find one.

I first of Hana Kimi from my friend who was reading it in Korean, when it finally came out in English, I was estatic. Right now, there's already 7 books released out of 23. I found a chinese site with all the manga scans and read them all. Oh wow, this has got to be my favorite series of all time. Has anybody else read this?

here's the plot of Hana-Kimi:

"Japanese-American, track-and-field star Mizuki is transferring to a high school in Japan, but not just any high school! To be close to her idol, high jumper Izumi Sano, she's going to an all-guys' high school...and disguising herself as a boy! But as fate would have it, they're more than classmates - they're roommates! Now, Mizuki must keep her secret in the classroom, the locker room, and her own bedroom. And her classmates, and the weird school nurse, must react to the new transfer student who looks like a very pretty boy..."

I've been curious about this manga lately. I'll admit the the cutesy plot turned me off, but I've heard nothing but good things about it.

lol, what do you expect when the whole series has 1 girl in an all boys school? The gay school nurse is my favorite character.

as of now, i think volume 7 was just released. So the english version still has a long way to go.

I would have to say my favorite volumes are 12 and 21. Those 2 certainly are the best
