Jedisakora, I couldn't find it on the site. I'll see if I can find it elsewhere. Thanks.

Andie, all the bookstores near me have huge manga sections. I think it's the big trend now. Even Harlequin has come out with romance manga. So silly, really.

I just started a new series called Spiral. I really like it. It doesn't have a whole lot of action to it but the humor keeps it moving along.

Pretty much all the bookstore carry manga around here too. I saw those Harlequin mangas, if they publish a good one i'll probably get it

I'll have to look up Spiral, humor is just as good as action to me

Totally unfair! I don't think the Philippines will ever get there. I'll have to settle for scanlations for the rest of my life. *faints at the thought*

How much do they cost there? Same as the regular books?

ETA: Btw, what's Spiral about?

Andie, here's a summary from anime news network. Like I said, there's not as much action as you'd expect. He solves the crimes/puzzles with his brain.

Quote:
Ayumu Narumi's older brother Kiyotaka, a renowned detective and piano player, disappears all of sudden. The only clue Narumi has, are the Blade Children. Two years later a row of murders and incidents begin, relating to the Blade Children. Together with school journalist, Hiyono Yuizaki, Narumi tries to figure out their destiny.
I've never lucked out with buying manga in ebay. I always get out bid in the last 3 seconds. It sucks.

Princess Bing: You're from the Philippines too? I'm from that country as well
pretty much you could buy manga here, but you'll have to look for them at the right stores, and provided that you have the cash to buy it, they can be pretty expensive.
I've also bought some manga off ebay, they're not bad

the latest anime that i'm totally going crazy about on is tsubasa chronicles & alice academy they're the best!

Too bad for you. Melissa, bidding on eBay means having a PayPal account, having a PayPal account means having some sort of compatible bank account or credit card, right? I don't have the latter, I think.

Re: Spiral. Suddenly, Detective Conan comes to mind.

*starr*, didn't we meet before at the Orlando Bloom board? I'm not sure... I used to buy manga from these high-end comic book stores, but they're so incredibly expensive, yeah! Once, I bought one measly chapter of Ranma 1/2 for 600 bucks or something, I think. And that was before the year 2000!

I'm trying to read all the CLAMP stuff first, even though it's not really necessary to be able to read Tsubasa Chronicles.

I've been had!

Melissa, which one do you frequent the most? I think I got banned out of mangadownload, though, 'cause I kept coming back during their maintenance periods.

Starr, I think either that site or OMGAnime has the complete Ranma.

Here is the link http://www.stoptazmo.com/

You download the manga off the site so you don't have to worry about megaupload

Princess Bing: oh, i have the scanlation of ranma 1/2 until volume 8, i think i haven't got the time to download volume 9 onwards now
i'm currently downloading sailormoon manga right now, it seems interesting

Jedisakora: oooh i've tried stoptazmo.com, but unfortunately, i couldn't access that site using the internet access i have at home. It's banned, surf control sucks (cos the internet access i'm using is free from our school)
