Mine was all different, I found the first one really good cause I never thought they make sequels ever again, so it left you on this amazing cliffhanger. I think it was overly used in the last 2.

Oh, I didn't mean I didn't like the flying at the end of The Matrix (I loved that one! When the zoom out on the city and you see Neo fly by), I meant I found the first flight in Reloaded a bit pointless.

Btw, I found a really cool Matrix website. It has tons of interesting stuff about the trilogy! The MATRIX 101

I especially like the Did You Know? part at the bottom of the screen! Here are some cool details:

Quote:
The MetaCorTechs capture scene from 'The Matrix' was another example of Keanu Reeve's dedication: He insisted on being out on the ledge, 34 stories up to film the scene himself. On the other hand, the window washers that you see a little earlier in the sequence are stuntmen, not actors.
Quote:
There were reports during rehearsal and filming of Neo's fights for Reloaded that after the day's shooting Keanu Reeves was carried to a kiddie pool full of ice for the aches, pains, and injuries sustained in the intense scenes. Jada Pinkett Smith shot a couple days of wire stunt work and thanks to the swelling and soreness afterwards realized the ice wasn't just eccentric movie star behavior.
I remember Jada telling the 'ice story' in the extras on the Reloaded dvd

Quote:
The Wachowski brothers gave Keanu 3 books before reading The Matrix script: 'Out of Control' by the Editor of Wired Magazine, 'Introducing Evolutionary Psychology' and Jean Baudrillard's 'Simulacra and Simulation'.

I've been a Keanu lover forever (OK, since the late 80's ), but I'm grateful for the Matrix movies, b/c they brough KR credibility and power. As well as lots of money.

I wish we still had another installment to come - I miss the excitement of waiting for the next Matrix to come out!

I agree! I think they were the best career move he's ever made (well, after Speed maybe since it was his breakthrough movie)

Yeah, me too...

I was wondering, do you all remember the first time you saw The Matrix? What did you think of it? Did you understand it?

I totally understood it and loved it. It blew me away. Everyone that told me they hated it was because they didn't understand it and got bored. Hello? It's not calculus, just basic listening comprehension!

I remember that I wasn't going to see it in the cinema (I wanted to wait for it to come out on VHS), but then my sister saw it and she told me roughly what it was about. I was intrigued and convinced one of my friends to ge see it with me. We were LATE and by the time we got in, the movie had already started (Trinity was chased by the agents on the roof). I absolutely loved the movie, but I have to admit there were parts I didn't fully understand. Hey, I was only 13! As soon as it came out in videostores, a friend of mine who worked in one of them copied it for me and I watched it over and over again! It actually became an obsession!

I didn't understand it either it took me atleast 5 times to watch the movie , and fully understand it due to the fact that it was a complex storyline and it was never done before, hey I ain't ashamed to admit it Like you Tery I was young when it came out, however I watched it on VHS.

I actually did a talk on it in my english class, my teacher was very impressed

Wow, really? That's so cool! The only place I discussed and analyzed the movies is here! Well, I had a friend/fellow obsessee in elementary school, but we kinda lost touch after we went to different high schools.

Geez, I just remembered I used to get up at 6 a.m. each morning just so I could watch an hour of the movie before I go to school!
