Neo Appreciation #1: No one can be told who Neo is. You have to see it for yourself.
 ~ NEO and THE MATRIX appreciation thread ~  Girls, we can't have a Keanu board and NOT HAVE a Neo thread! That's just wrong!  Neo is my absolutely favourite Keanu role and it brought out the *true* Keanu addiction in me.  The Wachowski brothers couldn't have picked a better actor to play Neo, and IMHO, Keanu nailed the role!     __________________

I liked them. I was pretty bummed about Neo and Trinity's outcome, but it was obvious that that's the way it had to be.

I still perfer the original movie. The others were good, but not as good as the first.

I was pretty happy with how things turned out.
The story and the special effects of the 2 sequels just blew me away and the only thing that did bother me is that they didn't focus that much on the character development of Neo, Trin and Morpheous. I really loved the trio in the frst movie and I was a bit disappointed that they spent so much time apart in Revolutions.  As for the ending itself, it took me a while to figure things out, but when I did, I realized that there was no other way to end the trilogy. Even though I was so sad when they died, I believe if they had left Neo and Trinity to survive (and live happily ever after), the movie would have lost it's... credibility lets say. And if the humans completely destroyed the machines the same thing would have happened.Anyway, to sum up, I loved Reloaded and Revolutions, but the first movie will always be my favourite! Quote:
