Keanu's Co-stars Appreciation Thread #1

Keanu's worked with a number of extremely talented actors and actresses, some of which we are all familiar with, like Al Pacino, Jack Nicholson or Charlize Theron and some of which we're not. This thread is in honor of all the people Keanu's ever worked with as well as their on and off-screen chemistry with Keanu.

Thanks Sasha!

And thanks for the Keanu/Sandy pictures! I love the third one!
Sandra's always been my favourite Keanu co-star! I just loved them in Speed, they had amazing chemistry! And by what I read in various interviews and saw on pictures, they seemed to have been having a lot of fun filming the movie! Maybe it was because they were both annonymous when Speed was shot and became big movie stars after it...

Anyway, more K/S pics:

Great idea! I really like this thread. When I'll get home in a couple of days with more time to 'google' a little bit I'll post further thoughts. As for now, I agree about the great chemistry he had with Sandra. I really enjoyed watching them together.

Thanks Clau!

Sasha, Point Break was great! I loved the interaction between Keanu and Patrick Swayze, they worked really well as a team! The other cast members were also great - Lori Petty (Tyler), Gary Busey (Utah's partner Pappas) and John C. McGinley (Utah's and Pappas' captain Harp)

Love this quote:

Ben Harp: Special agent Utah! This is not some job, flipping burgers at the local drive-in! Yes! - your surf board bothers me! Yes! - your approach to this whole damn case bothers me! And yes! - YOU BOTHER ME! And Pappas! Oh, for the love of Christ. How the hell did I even let you talk me into this whole bone-headed idea to begin with.
Pappas: Harp! We are working under-cover. It takes time. We've produced a few...
Ben Harp: NO! No no no no no no NO! Let me tell you what you've produced... Over the last two weeks, you two have produced exactly squat! SQUAT! During which time the ex-presidents have robbed two more banks. Now for Christ's sake, does either one of you have anything even remotely interesting to tell me?
[brief pause]
Johnny Utah: I caught my first tube today... Sir.

That's a great scene, Maja.

I just saw Hardball for the first time today. It was on cable, and I got to see it from the beginning, since I've only seen a few minutes of the middle of the movie.

I cried when Keanu's character was crying while giving the speech in church.

He had great chemistry with the kids and Diane Lane.

I enjoyed Keanu in Hardball. I liked him with Diane Lane too.

I agree I had a special fondness for the Keanu/Sandra connection.

I thought he was great with Katie Holmes in "The Gift".

He was SCARY in The Gift!

I love how he can convince me that he is a jerk and total bastard in one movie, but be adorable and a complete sweetheart in another. Now THAT is acting.

Keanu was fantastic in "The Gift". I like the performance b/c it was when a lot of people I know were like "wow, he can act".

Better late than never. I thought The Gift had a great ensemble overall.

I agree with you, the whole cast was amazing. I don't know if 'The gift' is my favorite role of all but it has to be very close to that. I think he was phenomenal in that movie.

I loved his performance as a killer in The Watcher with James Spader and Marisa Tomei.

Oh yeah, you're right. I think that movie was unfortunately underrated. I enjoyed it a lot. Thanks for the pics! Him in leather with long hair?!?! .
