Oh. Our semesters end in Dec and the new ones start Jan ... so there's an automatic break around the christmas holidays.

Look, I say we make it low key, because it's a holiday made to sell greeting cards and make people who, like me, haven't got anyone in their lives feel like crap (and like buying chocolate)... but Thursday is Valentine's Day. I say we celebrate our fabulous single (plus one married) selves. And have that be a fun little thing for us.
Not, you know, a multiple-week affaire, but just a fun little thing. We could have chocolate, heart-shaped stuff, George Clooney pictures.... You know, fun, inspirational stuff.  __________________

I'm not sure we've decided OFFICIALLY the next big party.
But yep ... party for Valentine's ... do you want a whole seperate thread? Or are we okay to do so here, maybe change the title for a few days? Or just ahead and start a new Valentines' thread, and we can all post our lovey dovey stuff? __________________

Well, I really don't think we should make a huge deal out of Valentine's Day. Aside from the fact that it's a one-day thing, there's the whole "crappy holiday only created to sell greeting cards" angle.
Besides, it would make sense to only have Party Threads for the ones we do put some planning into. __________________
