Ditto to your presence.

I was out of sorts all weekend. Just me here.

That's great about the speakers. I'm really glad you enjoyed them.

And teas! You'll have to let me know which you got.

Thanks for the new thread, Kimmie.

Excellent title, as far as I'm concerned. Very accurate.

I know exactly how you felt this weekend.

For one thing, I missed you, too. For another, I've had periods where I was the only one posting here, and it's just totally weird.

I got my teas, too. One of them is a green tea called Some Velvet Morning. It's got berries, lemongrass, orange peel and dandelion root in it. I was trying out that one.

I got Pink Lemonade, which is a rooibos tea with mango, lemon peel, hibiscus, lemongrass, stevia (which is a natural sweetener), lime, lemon, lemon myrtle, corn flower petals and sugar-cane flavouring. As soon as that one cools down a tad, I'll be able to tell you if I like it.

I got Midsummer Night's Dream, which is an herbal tea, with apple, spearmint, gooseberries, marigold blossoms, safflowers and rose petals. I already had some of that one and I love it. Tastes very summery and fresh.

And I got Pom Tango, which is a black tea, with mango and pomegranate. And that one is one of my favourite ones and they're no longer carrying it in stores, but they had a great rebate on it online, so I got a big bag of it.

Yeah,. it was like the whole world just didn't make sense, didn't feel right.

And I was definitely the only one here. Till Karen last night.

It is totally weird. And I missed you bunches. It made me appreciate our friendship even more.

Sunny, if those didn't have tea in them, they're drinks I would get totally addicted to.

I don't know what half the flavors are but they sound so natural and yummy.

Definitely let me know how the Pink Lemonade it.

Awesome that you got that and a great rebate on it buying it by ordering.

The Pink Lemonade might not be for me.

I don't know.

I'm gonna give it a second try (and a third and a fourth) for sure, but it tasted pretty sour to me.

It's not like there aren't plenty of other new flavours to try and enjoy.

Just today, they intoduced a new one called Magic Dragon. It's an herbal tea with apple, rosehips, hibiscus, sweet blackberry leaves, dragonfruit and cornflower petals. Doesn't that sound awesome?

And this place is totally weird when it's a ghost town.

I'm glad to be back.

That really does sound yummy.

I don't give things more than 2 chances when I drink them.

It is! I was like, hey, it echoes in here.

I have a weird thing with non-food foodstuff.

(I mean, with stuff like candy, gum and beverages.)

Not always, but sometimes?

Sometimes I sorta stick to something I hate till I eventually turn around the corner and start liking it.

I really don't know how that works, to tell you the truth.

I just know it has happened.

For instance, tonight I'm drinking Mango Lassi tea.

And it tastes roughly like an old ladies' house who owns too many cats.

For reasons I can't explain to myself, I kinda love.

I do that with food.

Not non-food stuff.

So I kinda do get what you're talking about.

Some things gross me out to the point I won't try again.

That's cool. It's good your tastes change like that with flavors. I would think that opens up new world of flavor for you.

Oh man, I don't know if I could go with that tea.

But as long as you love it, it doesn't matter why.

Well, same here.

Some things gross me out enough that I don't even give them a second try.

My stepmother made goat cheese souffles one year at Christmas.

If I had been a little less polite, I wouldn't have eaten any of it past the first bite.

No need ot tell me twice.

Yeah, I'm not sure what's up with that Mango Lassi tea.

I do like it, but in a way where I'm always wondering what's the funky taste.

It's weird, because it's basically mangoes, oranges and vanilla.

It should not taste strange at all. And yet...

Yikes! That sounds like a frightening meal!

I wouldn't have tried it again, either.

Not laughing at you. Laughing at your last sentence description.

I kinda know what you mean.

I love the coconut sparkling water, but, it has a weird taste to it.

After taste I should say.

I think the cheese souffle was actually supposed to be fancy.

My stepsister was suitably impressed, at any rate, and that's usually a sign that something is fancy.

And no worries about laughing.

I like it hwen I get a laugh out of someone.

Tea always has the potential to taste off, because you really have to be careful about how hot and how long you steep it.

Herbal teas, you can pretty much boil forever and they taste mostly okay.

Black teas can be steeped really hot, but it can't be too long or they'll start to sour.

White and green teas usually require much lower temperatures as well as shorter times, or they'll really funk up on you.

Mate teas can be steeped sorta hot, but not for long.

And oolong teas must be steeped at lower temperatures as well, but can be steeped longer.

Fortunately, all of my teas come with handy guides. So I just follow the instructions.

Fancy food always scares me.

I always appreciate the laughter.

I'm so glad that your teas come with instructions, cause that's a LOT to remember.

Though I guess it's easier for you to remember because you deal with them often.

Instructions are always a good thing. For those moments you don't feel like trying to remember, or you forget.

Do you save the instructions?

The tea-steeping instructions are on the bag the tea comes in.

It's loose-leaf tea, so it stays in the bad.

But, let's say the bag disappeared for some reason and I still wanted to make tea?

Well, all the information is also on the website.

Heck, the website also gives you sugar and caffeine content information.

It's really comprehensive.

That is awesome.

The fact that they go to that much care to do all that?

Plus you love the tea?

That just...you couldn't ask for more.

Well, you know me, never satisfied.

I could ask for more.

A lot of their teas have nuts in them.

A lot of their teas don't have nuts in them, so I should really be satisfied with the wide array of teas I've already gotten my hands on.

But there are others I can't even sample because of nuts.

I would want some sort of version of those teas without nuts.

Of course, my best friend, who shares this particular addiction with me, swears by the nutty teas.

It's her favourite thing in the whole world. So maybe I'm being greedy.

Okay, there really is no "maybe" about it.

But, there you have it, I could ask for more.
