Yes it was! All the garrett males have such chemistry! It's not something you get every day in a new show

Exactly! They have amazing chemistry! You can see them definitely as a family, hanging out, watching sports, eating pizza, etc.

I love that Nick is starting to mend his relationship with his father. I love the scenes that these two share.

Ya its great that they are mending their relationship. I don't think Nick realized at first how much he hurt his father by leaving

I know...and what was it? Something like Nick said he can't imagine having missed out on the 10 years he could've had with Sam if he is his dad. And then Commander was like "yeah, imagine it." Ya know, that scene?

It really stuck out to me because not only do I think that got to Nick, but it kind of reiterates the symbolism of this show, bringing together the past and present.

Wow. That was well said. It is pretty symbolic about the whole 10 year thing for both men.

Exactly!! It kinda puts Nick in his fathers shoes for a sec....in the sense of having to wonder what it would be like to miss out on 10 years of a child's life. Nick's father has lived through it.

Yeah i think that was such a cool part of the show's storyline, that Nick experienced what his father did too

Exactly. It totally put Nick in his dad's shoes. It made him realize how much his father missed him while he gone for those 10 years.

I think the Nick/Commander scenes break everyone's heart. It's hard to see how dysfunctional their family is after knowing BG from his life on OTH.
