What was the last movie you saw? DISCUSSION (Please Use Spoiler Tags For New Films)

Our latest reviews are here.

I agree with lonely sidewalk that Avatar without the cool 3D sort of falls flat. It doesn't really have a strong story behind it, IMO.

And it was way too long. Just when I thought it was going to end, BAM another 40 minutes were still left.

August Rush - I liked the second "part" better than the first, but the ending was a little underwhelming.

I saw the last hour of August Rush and I was completely bored by it! I remember when it came out people were telling me to go see it....maybe it would have been better if I had caught the whole thing?

Avatar: Pretty film....too long and plot to simple.

I saw that some days ago and I didn't really like it. I mean the acting was great, but I just wanted to slap half of the characters and more than once. Also I didn't think it was funny enough.
I'd still watch it again for gay Julianne Moore alone.

Let Me In - It wasn't that bad in terms of 'scary', some bits I flinched at because of the whole blood aspect though. But overall I found the film a tad slow. I will say that both the child actors were amazing though. For them only to both be 13, wow.

I rewatched Bride Wars today, which I know is definitely not considered a good movie, but it still entertains me

and I'm watching Twister right now - so good!

bought Toy Story 3, I loved it. Brought back memories forme as I got older and giving up my toys although I kept mine to give to my children someday. I had to say to did get teary eyed in some scenes. That's the trouble with growing up you can't play with toys forever.

Clash of the Titans, I thought it was a really good movie. Although I wished it would have ended differently.

Daybreakers, thought it was a good vampire movie.

Angel and the Badman (remake) starring Lou Diamond Phillips and Luke Perry. I really liked it also.

I don't think it helped that they all talked really slow too.

Really? Yeah, some of the characters were annoying at times. And I don't really think that this movie was supposed to be all that funny?

Megamind - I enjoyed it quite a lot. It's not the best animated movie but it's definitely entertaining.

Is this the remake from the swedish version? Because I liked that one quite a lot!

On imdb it's written comedy drama, but it was clearly more drama.

I have to see Megamind.

You know, I didn't even think of that.
