Life as a House - Still as good as always. I just love Hayden Christensen in it... it's such a sweet story.

Ooh, I rented this one tonight (Meg Ryan being the draw) - I've been curious about it, regardless of the mostly bad reviews. I'll watch it tomorrow, though. Tonight I watched Under The Tuscan Sun, and really enjoyed it. I dug Diane Lane in Unfaithful, so I had high hopes for this movie. It turned out to be quite charming and touching. And now I want to go live in Tuscany !

Close Encounters of the Third Kind. I don't care who flames me, I think this was the better sci-fi movie of 1977!!! Yep, I'd rather sit through this than Star Wars. One of my childhood favourites, I'm working my way through all my Richard Dreyfuss movies at the minute. Didn't make me cry as much as it used to, but for me, it's Spielberg who annihilates Lucas in the battle every time

The Man Between - Quite good in places and the ending was pretty tense but not one to watch again.

Seven Brides for Seven Brothers - all time fave

OK, honestly? You are SO my twin We'll have to watch the movie together someday and have little sticks to prod each other awake when we begin tuning out!
Yes, honestly! And phew, I'm relieved that it wasn't just me. When I realised that yet again I'd missed a whole chunk of what was going on, I knew to give up!!

Mr Holland's Opus. A cute little movie, makes me cry at the end! I hadn't seen it for years, and it's weird now I'm a music teacher myself in a high school, to there were more than a couple of familiar moments!

Trooper Hook - Took a while to get going and never going to be a favourite but better on a second viewing.

Too Many Girls - Fab, fun musical

The Constant Husband - Very funny, especially the bit when Rex Harrison is begging to be let back in to the prison

Mystic River - pretty good. Dark, but good.

Deliverance - if you want to feel bad all day, watch this movie. Bluh.

Misery - Chick is a psycho. Didn't like the movie but I don't like most of Stephen King's stuff anyway.

Thirteen - wow. You just kind of sit there like, "whoa." Very good. Disturbing.

I literally just finished watching Once Upon a Time In Mexico. Am kind of freaked out.

Johnny's eyes. They - they took out Johnny's eyes. Both of them. Oh my god, that was so disgusting I think I'm going to throw up.

And the plastic surgery scenes were weird too.

But in all, I really like the movie. Johnny Depp is really great in it, especially at the bull fight And with that kid. "Gum? Why would I want gum? Here, I'll give you this, now **** off." The story is good too. But I got kind of confused, with all the alliances and stuff, and everyone switches sides.

And why was Salma Hayek listed as a star of the movie? She was in it maybe ten minutes, tops.
