There's a horror movie called CLOWN that had a dad dress up as one for his son's

party and he literally got consumed by the costume, becoming a scary demonic clown that eats kids

Needless to say, it's why clowns are in my top 3 most feared creatures

He was even creepier than Pennywise

^^^Me too, I've just never really found them scary lol. I heard It 2 is almost three hours, I was surprised when I first heard that.

There's something sinister about their appearance. Between the face paint (their mouths look like blood) and the way they always smile... Gives me the creeps

Plus, knowing the backstory of John Wayne Gacy (the real life serial killer) when I was growing up didn't help

yeah, it all depends on some personal trauma, especially in one's childhood, it doesn't have to be actually scary but it can be triggering for some people
