I personally thought he was miscast and I still hate how rushed and halfassed they do Venom in Spiderman 3. I can't wait to see what the MCU does with Venom and the symbiote, it should finally be done right lol.

It was definitely a rushed plot but I thought he was good as sort of another geek, an angrier geek who was blaming Peter for everything wrong in his life

I feel like that was rushed, last minute, and sloppy writing they never planned to do cause it does make the butler look like an idiot keeping that information to himself all these years. You see Harry treating Peter like crap and always accusing him of covering for Spiderman, then becomes a villain to kill Spiderman and you say nothing? He only speaks up after Harry got half of his face blown off, great judgement RME. I don't hate Spiderman 3 as much as most (Still easily say TASM2 is the worst and messiest Spiderman film) but that was one of the things showing how crappy the writing was in the film.

Exactly a convenient plot twist. Very soap-opera ish to think how the butler just throws this into the equation and Harry's just like "okay thanks for heads up" instead of ranting about how this secret half-ruined his life and killed his beloved friendship with Peter
