The Notebook is not really heartbreaking, more bittersweet.
I agree with that one. It's one of my favorite movies although I don't care for "modern day" aspect of the movie.

I know what you mean about the 'modern day' aspect but still the movie is one thousand times better than the book ever was!

Ι have never read the book, but the movie was awesome...Ryan Gosling and Rachel Mac Adams made a unique couple (ever I know they hated each other )

I'm so tired of the Titanic song but it brought new meaning recently when Celine performed it in memory of her husband, it was true to her life at the time. So sad.

I haven't read any of his books. Rare that you find a movie that's better than the book.

Same with "A Walk to Remember", the books border on being a little cheesy.

And someone always dies in a heart wrenching love story manner.

So I've noticed.

I believe I have that book sitting somewhere.

I loved the book the Notebook as well as the movie, even if the endings were different.

And yeah I heard they hated each other also.

I also love Sweet Home Alabama. I think Reece is just so cute!

I find it is also a comedy, but the cast is all just so wonderful!

I think it's more of a romantic comedy. Which is one of my favorite movie genres.
