I know!! The last person who died was so shocking! I'm surprised I didn't cry lol Yeah she was pretty good in The Day After Tomorrow too. She's so lucky she got to play Kurt's daughter lmao.

Rofl I know. Sooo many dead people! I thought the special effects were really good! What other special effects could you have wanted? lol

I just watched the original, and I cannot wait to see this new one, to see how it compares. Special effects wise and technology wise, my mind is intrigued.

This movie really kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time. Kurt has aged a bit since his Overboard days, but his acting was great. Emmy and Josh - thumbs up!

At least there are a few positive reviews on here. I seem to be reading all negative reviews on this movie everywhere. Don't think I am going to bother with this one. The original was good.

I am so sick of remakes too...

I'm surprised that MI:3 beat Poseidon over the weekend. Oh well...

Probably because the Mission Impossible movies are such classics and everyone wants to see if the third was just as good. Poseidon > MI

And Josh Lucas doesn't have the superstar status and fame that Tom Cruise. Josh Lucas does have something good for him going. He isn't in the tabloids like Tom Cruise is. Josh also doesn't come off as being a nut like Tom does, lol. I bet in a year or two Josh Lucas will be a superstar in the movie business.

I really liked this movie. The effects were great, and I am a sucker for anything with Josh Lucas in it. I thought Emily Rossum did a great job, though.
I saw the first one (many, many times) and loved it, and loved this one as well.

Okay - but you can't really beat the original cast. I mean, Mad Magazine made a whole parody of it that was just brilliant! Shelly Winters, people!
