10 Oscar nominations! I'm happy. I'm still rooting for LOTR:ROTK, but this was one of my favorite films of 2003. Paul Bettany was robbed of an Oscar nod, though. [img]smilies/frown.gif[/img] __________________

 Now I get the title. What a wonderful movie... Can't say enough about it. This was classy, interesting and full on gorgeous. I loved everything in it. This is a movie to see.__________________

Well, this is a disappointment. I tried to discuss these books on the books forum and no one had read them. I can't believe it - I used to work in a bookstore and we could barely keep them on the shelves! So now I come over here to see if anyone on the movie thread has read them, and the thread is kaput. This is sad.

I haven't read the books, either. But I loved the movie. As far the film goes I was dissapointed with the fan reception to this one. It was truly a great film. __________________

You know, I don't know ANYONE who saw it in the theater, but everyone who's seen it on DVD loved it. And it got like 8 milion oscars or something, didn't it?
The books are a pretty big time commitment, especially since once you start you can't put them down, and there are 21 of them. But still, the way they were selling at the bookstore, I'm shocked that I can't find anyone else who's read or is reading them. __________________
