The Dracula/Mina bed scene (wedding scene, if you will) was the closest thing to a sex scene without actual sex that you could ever see. VERY sensual and heated.

Gary really sold the vulnerability in his character when he was around Winona's character, despite how ruthless he was when dealing with just about everyone else in the film.

I can't stress enough however that I think Keanu Reeves was woefully miscast as Jonathan Harker in Bram Stoker's Dracula. You're meant to root for his marriage to Mina but all I wanted was for Dracula to declare her as his vampire bride.

It makes me furious to think that Johnny could have played him. He and Winona were still engaged at this point, so the chemistry in the love triangle on screen would have been fire.

Yes and it's nice that such a private couple agreed to such an open viewing of their home and a revealing interview about themselves.

It proves that the rumors about Johnny being aggressive with paps + media back then were clearly exaggerated and they were happy to talk to people, just on their own terms.

I remember Winona saying that a photographer got physically aggressive with her and caused her to trip over and Johnny lost it, giving the pap his 'money shot' They're all twisted people wanting celebs to lose their minds because it gives them scandal to print.

Still can't believe the irony of them casting Timothee Chalamet as Johnny and Winona's kid in that Edward Scissorhands commercial a while back

When Timothee and Lily-Rose had an on/off romance and only recently broke up again

I mean... Gahhh I wish Johnny hadn't been going through that awful Amber Heard court case at the time. We all know he would have been in the commercial had it not been for the backlash against him at the time.

I saw a war film recently called The Birdcatcher (2019) and I swear to god, it is eerie how much Sarah-Sofie Boussnina resembles Winona - I honestly thought it was her! Had to do a net search to confirm otherwise. That's a great WW2 film, by the way. I would recommend.

Afterthoughts on watching Sleepy Hollow for the millionth time:

~ The chemistry between Johnny and Christina Ricci is extremely tender and I think it comes across as genuine due to her having worked with Winona on Mermaids years before. Nice little connection there

~ Miranda Richardson was bad a s s as Katrina's stepmother, deliciously wicked

~ The beheading scenes are quite gruesome... Especially when the murder of the small boy who tried to hide under the floorboards is heavily suggested

This instagram post by Johnny regarding Warner Bros' mistreatment of him really makes me feel nauseous towards the company + the Harry Potter universe

Whatever a man is accused of in real life, what we see on screen is *fictional* and should be treated as such. Johnny should be allowed to artistically express himself, in the way he was free to do before Amber Heard came along and tainted his life --

^ Amber being jealous of that tattoo is NOT surprising. "Winona Forever" is a strong statement. I bet she knew how real that relationship was, and that Winona's love for him was genuine. When it ended, Winona never set out to destroy him.

I had hope that Amber and Johnny's marriage was real, for his sake more than anything. But clearly, her intentions was destructive. It's heartbreaking what he has been put through since this made headlines.

Absolutely incredible how Johnny won his case and yet Amber has now resorted to stalking his every social media post & has her sister speaking out against him.

Hope he considers a restraining order; I honestly think his life is in danger.
