I just got back from watching this movie. It's mediocre, and poorly executed. Let's just say I knew what was going on after a few things happened.

I don't know why but I pretty much expected that. Haven't seen it yet and I doubt I will.

Sad thing is I expected it too but my friend *had* to see it. Been bothering me about it so we finally went...he loved it, even said he would buy it on DVD.

I controlled my urge to slap him.

I saw the "twist" about halfway through the movie, but having said that I still enjoyed this film. I'm usually not impressed by horror movies, and it takes a lot to scare me, and while I wasn't jumping up and down and screaming like the other people in the theater, it was still creepy. I was impressed by Dakota in particular, she did the whole creepy/innocent thing perfectly. And while the plot wasn't the most original idea, I was still drawn in, so yeah. I thought it was enjoyable, I liked it.

ok... maybe the plot was kinda predictable

buth the flashing back was kinda neat... and i liked how a lot of the scenes were executed... it was a jumpy movie!

overall, i thought it was pretty good... give it a shot! i don't think you'll be too disappointed... there's MUCH worse out there

(if nothing else, see it for Dakota... she gives an awesomely creepy performance!)

I watched Hide & Seek last week and I really liked it. The ending was very shocking. I knew that Charlie was real, but I suspected everyone except for the person he turned out being.

Dakota is so adorable and she did a great job. And Robert De Niro.....amazing as always.
