Harry Potter Series #1

Continue discussion on all the Harry Potter movies here! :)

These are some of my wife and my favorite movies to marathon through! I really wouldn't mind if they did more movies or even side stories/prequels.

Mi||iê Måë 02-17-2015 09:14 PM

I agree. I could never get tired of re-watching these, and it's like a Lord of the Rings marathon, you can't just pick one and watch, if you're going to watch, you watch them all, and you always start with the first! :)

That's true because you're crazy if you don't like Harry Potter!!!!

Mi||iê Måë 02-20-2015 06:04 PM

I so agree! :)

I would love to own these on blu ray though. :nod:

when the funds allow, there are cheap options available! They have the sets where it's 2 movies in one box. I have those, they were 9.99 each. 40 bucks got me all 8 movies on blu!

Yeah there are few stores around here like that where I can get cheap, but bills, food and necessities come first. :(

Of course!

Maybe Warner Bros will sign a deal with Netflix to get them on there for you!

Mi||iê Måë 02-22-2015 03:56 PM

That would be nice, but all at once...doubt it..

My Kind Of Crazy 02-22-2015 05:49 PM

love this series. the books and the movies are just fantastic

Mi||iê Måë 02-22-2015 06:00 PM

^^ I agree. Although the books still have a bit more than the movies!

Tons more! Each movie would need to be 3-4 hours longer EACH to incorporate all the book material.

My Kind Of Crazy 02-23-2015 10:01 AM

yes.. and nobody wants to sit that long to watch a movie
thats what the books are for. its amazing how much detail and imagination she puts into these stories

I do. I regularly sit 4-5 hours for movies.

My Kind Of Crazy 02-23-2015 06:31 PM

i can barely sit for 2hrs for a movie. i need to get up and move around then come back and watch another

Mi||iê Måë 02-23-2015 07:57 PM

Ants in your pants! :lol:

GardenSirens 02-23-2015 09:43 PM

I just get lost into the films that I don't realize where I am and what I'm doing other than being immersed into these films. Like Harry Potters, I actually feel like I'm there at Hogwart's!

My Kind Of Crazy 02-24-2015 12:14 PM

i am the same way

GardenSirens 02-24-2015 12:49 PM

I seriously am craving some Harry Potter!

msstock87 02-24-2015 08:19 PM

So am I! :)

Want us to wait? I know that each weekend now, Millie and I are going to be hosting a watch party for a movie or series (or sometimes just genre in general like Asian films). This weekend is the Saw franchise. We could do HP next weekend. Will you have DVD/BD player by then?
