Fight Club (1999) #1
Fight Club
Fight Club (1999) This is quite possibly my favorite movie ever, and I was surprised that there wasn't a thread for it. (I'm also definitely not used to opening threads and am therefore open to any suggestions as to how to improve this.) __________________

Ahh, Fight Club how I love thee.
Thanks for this. As for the opening post, you can post a few pictures and the movie synopsis. There have been Fight Club threads before, they just vanish after a while. __________________

Me too!
When I first watched it I thought it was the weirdest movie ever made. But I still loved it. __________________

NEVER TALK ABOUT FIGHT CLUB!
I love it! Ordinary people and the modern-day consumer society. I like the style and Edward Norton It is a movie that I still think about even after I've watched it. Here's an article about Fight Club and Calvin and Hobbes |

I love it! I'm not usually attracted to Brad Pitt, but he was pretty hot in this movie, as was Edward Norton. And using Pixies for the ending scene was AWESOME.

Bella How cool you still enjoyed it even though you knew the ending. Knowing the ending actually enhances a lot of the scenes, it's a trip to see it from Marla's perspective.

Ed Norton was amazing. The really tired look on his face, the smirk, the annoyance and then, the thrill of Tyler Durden!

Oh, I'm obsessed with this film. I saw the movie first, then read the book, which I recommend, just because David Fincher did the film so well. It sucks to know the ending before you see the film because the scenes leading up to Ed Norton's nameless character's realization are brilliant.
And dude, Brad Pitt owned the film. Tyler Durden is one of those historic characters you never forget. And I have to give a shout out to the script. It's so brutal and deadpaningly hilarious and cold and distant at the same time. Also, David was a genius to splice in the random scenes that were giving you a clue Ed was insane. __________________
