the Toretto flashbacks were great. I kinda wish we had that earlier in the franchise. Cute to see young Letty, Mia and the rest of the crew from the first F&F. it really brings us back to racing again.

as much as i like seeing Han again, it's such an after-thought to tie all the stories including Tokyo Drift. Things aren't always what they seem and characters die then come back. meh....

I like the Mia/Letty moment. I don't recall that many moments where they were alone in the franchise. Tokyo is big and they just so happen to find the right place with pure luck. it's a bit far-fetched but i can live with that.

I can live with Dom's car flying and magnet to be added as a cool new feature. but space wtf?! i want to delete that part of the story from my memory. not only do cars don't fly, they don't GO TO SPACE!

i have mixed feelings having Brian as the babysitter to the story. i know it makes sense that Mia is here because of Jakob but it doesn't make sense that Brian don't join the team. it's not how his character is but of course Paul is gone . I was like "awww " whenever Brian was named. nice touch, the house, the BBQ, the empty seat as Brian "comes home".

Bringing Jakob to the story. it's not all bad but i don't like the timing. it's like Dom "lost" a brother (Brian) so let's bring his real brother in. Am I reading too much into it?

Overall it's enjoyable minus the space part. To me, any stories after F7 were unnecessary but it's always great to see the characters we love through the years.
