I love Dawn of the Dead so much and I was more satisfied with Shaun than I was with the 2004 remake of Dawn.
Don't have a fave scene - Shaun and Ed throwing rocks at the zombies ranks very high though. __________________

I quite liked the remake of Dawn...I recall seeing the original years and years ago...I want to find it again so I can watch it...and compare it...but I liked the remake...
As for Shaun...a favourite moment? I remember laughing my head off when the jerky-idiot guy is being ripped apart by the zombies and the girl who's in love with him...rushes out to "save him"...idiot girl...I laughed so much though... __________________

Not as funny as I was expecting, but not bad.

It will be so interesting to see if this film is nominated for any film awards this year. It just missed out in being one of 'Harry's' top ten films of the year (2004)

That was my favorite scene as well. It was actually kinda gory too. And it was so completely lame of that girl to rush out and try to save him. She just saw him get ripped apart and his intestines eaten.......what the hell does she think she can do?? I totally loved the movie though. It was definately a romantic zombie comedy. I actually just watched the original Dawn of the Dead last week. First time I had seen it. Pretty good considering it was made in like 1978. I actually turned my head a few times. And I thought the re-make was really good. The baby zombie......kinda disturbing. |

I just bought Shaun of the dead a few days ago. Love most of all of it expect some bits when they were in the bar. Too much drama there not enough comedy but it was still good.
