The von Trapp's escape at the end of The Sound of Music is incredibly moving as well.

Steel Magnolias I always start bawling when M'Lynn is driving to see her grandson after Shelby just died. Seeing her cry in the car and hearing the music gets me crying a river. Beaches - When Hillary want to go home to die and Bette starts singing "Wind Beneath My Wings". Sophie's Choice when the Nazis wanted her to choose between her 2 children. I have a whole lot more. Basically any heart renching scene having to do with painful death and losing one's child just makes me bawl like a baby. Just thinking about these scenes is making me tear up. |

The saddest scene was at the end when Skip died, I just had to walk away from the T.V. |

One scene extremely emotional for me was the last scenes in "The Perfect Storm". When they're talking about what they're going to do when they go back home...
All the while you listen to the dialogue knowing they're going to die and you wonder if they're fooling themselves or just really believe they'll be ok. Man, that's hard to watch. "The fish will gather again for the Andrea Gail" That's one of the hardest quote to listen to in any movie I've seen. __________________

The scene in LOTR: TTT, when Sam is making his speech to Frodo at the end, about having to fight for the good left in Middle Earth... That was so very touching! The scene in A Walk to Remember when Landon goes to his father after he helps Jamie and he's crying and pulling on his shirt, telling him "thank you". WOW. The scene in The Notebook when older Noah and Allie are dancing after she remembers, and then she forgets again and she starts to struggle agaisnt him. Then Noah starts to cry! The scene in 13 Going on 30 when Jenna goes back home, goes in the closet, and starts hitting the shelves with her back as she cries. The music that's playing and everything....*sniffles* It just made me all emotional! __________________

Deep Impact - When all of the members of the Messiah are saying goodbye to the family members over the monitors before they attempt a suicide bombing run to save the planet.
The most emotional part is when one of the astronauts hears his newborn baby cry and puts his hands on the monitor (because he can't see) and the baby puts his hand on the monitor and he tells him to "be good for your mom". The score by James Horner swells up and is just the right tone that says the sacrifice the astronauts are about to make is the most nobelist and unselfish deed anyone can aspire too. Saving Private Ryan - The D-Day invasion and the after math where Tom Hanks is looking over the walls of the fortified Normandy coast at the miles and miles of beaches littered with dead soldiers and just says, "Yeah. It's quite the view". |

Seven - when Gwyneth tells Morgan that she's pregnant and Morgan tells her that if she has the baby she will bring a person into this sick world and traumatize it.
It's a crude scene. __________________

Monster with Charlize Theron - most notably at the very end when Selby is condemning her to prison and that music is playing and Aileen gets dragged away out of the courtroom then she says something like 'True love never dies -- well they gotta tell ya something" as she is escorted down that white corridor to be executed... That scene was so powerful.
I know it's a weird one but in Dawn of the Dead when Sarah Polley's husband has just gotten bit and he's dying on the bed... She's totally hysterical as she tries to close the wound so he won't bleed to death then she starts banging the phone down and crying when she can't get a connection. Every single part of The Passion of the Christ. __________________
