Definitely at the end of Edward Scissorhands. It was just so sad.

And American History X. I saw that in one of my classes (German History Through Film...really cool class), and I'd been following it and at the end, me and my friend Kris both were like, "Holy ****!" It was definitely a tearjerker.

Marvin's Room. I guess it was because I was eight when I saw it, it was one of those movies that wrecked me for like, a whole week.

And, The Quick and the Dead. The part where the little girl accidently kills her dad choked me up, considering me and my dad were watching in. *cries*

My Girl made me cry the hardest I've ever cried in a movie. When Thomas dies, and Vada comes running down the stairs yelling that he needs his glasses...that always breaks my heart.

I cried at a lot of movies for the first or second time I see them, like Deep Impact, The Green Mile and Titanic, but the one film that consistently reduces me to a blubbering idiot is American Beauty. The ending sequence with Lester's voiceover gets me every single time. I keep thinking I won't cry this time I see it but by the end I'm just a mess. I know it sounds so corny, but I really feel like my soul is a little bit cleaner after each time I watch that film. It just expresses all the things that I want to say but cannot say in my own words.

For me, it's Titanic. And not only because Jack dies (although that is a very big reason why I always cry when I see the movie), but because of all the families that are shown. Like the mother putting her two children to sleep as the ship is sinking, and the old couple in their bed as their room gets filled with water, and the mother and daughters leaving their father behind, etc.

I'm getting weepy just thinking about it now.

Field of Dreams Whenever the part comes on and Kevin Costner's character says to that baseball player, "Hey, Dad, wanna play catch". I cry everytime. I have seen that movie a lot, and that part still pulls my heart into strings.

Chick Flicks Appreciation - you know you love them

Okay, actually you know I don't love 'em, but I know a lot of you do, and after the last thread's controversy I thought I'd start a fresh one for you. And don't mind me - my taste is my taste and completely different from yours, which I absolutely respect.

So...I'll start off with the only one I can think of that I like - Bridget Jones' Diary. What a cute and clever film! And the casting was uber brilliant. Really, I went out and bought all three of the soundtrack albums, too, because the music was fantastic. Actually, there is no wrong with this film!

How about some of your favorites...

Legends of the Fall: Is this a chick flick, I would think it is seeing as though there wasn't a momet in this film that I wasn't bawling like a baby.

Hey there - I'm going to close this thread because it's a duplicate. The FF Phantom struck again!
