Xan walks on to the red carpet with the first of his three dates, Josh Groban
P Y R O I think it's great that the FFMAs have lasted this long, though participation is considerably lower compared to previous years. Anyway I told the Mexican lovelies, Gael Garcia Bernal and Diego Luna, that I'm going to go ahead and enter the venue before them, because I need to escort Josh inside. As you know, he'll be performing one of the nominated songs tonight. Josh Groban Yes, "Believe" is nominated for Best Song, and I'm truly honored to be performing it tonight. And by myself, too, although I can't really complain about doing a duet with Beyonce at the Oscars. I'm excited! Of course I'm rooting for the song to win. Xan and Josh continue to walk towards the theater, as Xan plays with Josh's hair and grabs his ass __________________

Dawndelion hits the redcarpet for the first time late. *looks around* Where is everyone? Did they sneak in a back entrance? Oh well goes in side to catch some of the show before she has to go.

Welcome to the 4th Annual FanForum Movie Awards! The ceremony is about to begin, so please take your seats. Let's all welcome your host for these ceremonies, for the second year in a row, Mr. Ryan Seacrest!
Ryan Seacrest Good evening, ladies and gentlemen, and welcome to the 4th Annual FanForum Movie Awards. I am honored to be hosting this event for the second year in a row. The last year has been rough for me, you know, losing my television show and all, but if I get to host these awards every year, along with "American Idol," well then that's good enough for me. Last year, the FFMAs did something innovative by handing out the four acting awards just like "American Idol." We had couches set up onstage, and announced the Top Three in every category, followed by the announcement of the actual winner. It seems that this year, the Oscars took a similar page from our book by having nominees in several categories stand onstage as the winner in their category was being announced. Of course, the Oscars did that in the minor categories, allowing the big stars to take their comfortable seats while awaiting news of who wins. Well, we're going to take that concept one step further and have the five nominees in each acting category come up onstage and wait for whoever wins. It's like the Oscars, but with the big stars onstage. Now, this year's FFMAs are significant because this is the first time that Best Picture will not go to a "Lord of the Rings" movie... unless someone neglected to tell me anything about the plots of the five nominated films, anyway. But that doesn't mean its presence isn't felt at the awards. For instance, Cate Blanchett, who played Galadriel in the movies, is nominated tonight for Best Supporting Actress. Elijah Wood, also known as Frodo, is part of the Best Ensemble-nominated cast of "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind." Also, some of the cast is here to present some awards. We also have some new categories in store for you tonight, such as Best Documentary and Best Sound. It's a pity these weren't introduced sooner... I'm sure those "Lord of the Rings" movies would have gained more awards back then. Now, enough of my useless introduction remarks, and on to the actual show. These two talented actors provided the voices of two of the most memorable cartoon characters: Puss in Boots and Princess Fiona. Let's give it up for Antonio Banderas and Cameron Diaz! __________________

Antonio Banderas In last year's "Shrek 2," we followed the continuing love story of the unlikeliest of couples: An ogre named Shrek and a princess named Fiona. Along the way, we met Fiona's parents, the Fairy Godmother, and of course, Puss in Boots. Cameron Diaz By the end of the movie, we discovered that true love can be found in the strangest of places, with the unlikeliest of people, in the most random circumstances. This year's first nominee for Best Song captured all that. Here to perform "Accidentally in Love" from "Shrek 2" is the band Counting Crows! Accidentally in Love Shrek 2 So she said what's the problem baby What's the problem I don't know Well maybe I'm in love (love) Think about it every time I think about it Can't stop thinking 'bout it How much longer will it take to cure this Just to cure it cause I can't ignore it if it's love (love) Makes me wanna turn around and face me but I don't know nothing 'bout love Come on, come on Turn a little faster Come on, come on The world will follow after Come on, come on Cause everybody's after love So I said I'm a snowball running Running down into the spring that's coming all this love Melting under blue skies Belting out sunlight Shimmering love Well baby I surrender To the strawberry ice cream Never ever end of all this love Well I didn't mean to do it But there's no escaping your love These lines of lightning Mean we're never alone, Never alone, no, no Come on, Come on Move a little closer Come on, Come on I want to hear you whisper Come on, Come on Settle down inside my love Come on, come on Jump a little higher Come on, come on If you feel a little lighter Come on, come on We were once Upon a time in love We're accidentally in love Accidentally in love [x7] Accidentally I'm In Love, I'm in Love, I'm in Love, I'm in Love, I'm in Love, I'm in Love, Accidentally [x2] Come on, come on Spin a little tighter Come on, come on And the world's a little brighter Come on, come on Just get yourself inside her Love ...I'm in love __________________

Our next presenter has quite an impressive resume: "Goonies," "Rudy," and of course, who could forget him as the ever-loyal Samwise Gamgee in the "Lord of the Rings" films. Certainly not you voters, you gave him the Best Supporting Actor crown last year! Here he is to present the night first acting award, Mr. Sean Astin! __________________

Okay, I'm here with the five nominees to make them feel even more uncomfortable before the big announcement. To those who haven't seen me on "American Idol": That's my job description. Let's start with Kirsten. How does it feel to be nominated alongside four Academy Award nominees? Kirsten Dunst Wow, you know, this was such an unexpected honor for me. I mean, I seem to have replaced some very talented actresses to get here, so it's just... amazing to be here. Ryan Seacrest Now, to the rest of the ladies... you've been here before. Is it different now, or is it the same every time? Laura Linney Well, it's a different experience every time, because it's a different group of people voting for these awards everytime. Natalie Portman Oh, definitely, it seems that everywhere we go, someone else wins at these awards. Keeps things interesting. Cate Blanchett It doesn't help, of course, that this time around, we're all standing here for the whole world to see. Virigina Madsen As for me, I'm just enjoying the ride. It has been a great journey for me and I enjoy everything that comes my way because of this movie. Ryan Seacrest Alright, take it away, Sean! __________________

Alright! Congratulations! Our next presenter initially gained acclaim in the low-budget hit "Croupier." He then went on to the underwhelming "King Arthur," and finally made a giant step towards the big time with his Academy Award-nominated and Golden Globe-winning role in "Closer." We might see him next as popular British superspy James Bond, but right now, he is here to present our next award. Nominated tonight for Best Supporting Actor, here is Owen. Clive Owen. __________________
