I don't know what to think anymore.Why they always have to play on Damon's insecurities regarding Elena?

I feel bad for poor Elena honestly...
Basically her ENTIRE FUTURE has been planned for her by the UNIVERSE. She had no say in being a doppleganger. She had no say in who she's with for the rest of her life. She had no say in being a vamprie. She FOUGHT for the past FOUR SEASONS to FINALLY choose Damon and it was the most difficult thing for her to do because the ENTIRE UNIVERSE was basically planning against her. And now the UNIVERSE is planning to rip her choice away from her and almost MAKE her choose Stefan again. Because that's its plan. It has nothign to do with what Elena wants or what Damon wants or even...hell...what Stefan wants. It's all about what the universe wants. So now SHE has to somehow fight against the ENTIRE FREAKING UNIVERSE to be with Damon. Then you have poor Damon...stuck in the middle of everything...destined to be someone's leftovers. I'll say this: Anytime you have two characters (heroes...protagonists) who are fighting against the universe for ANYTHING...they ALWAYS get what they want. SO be prepared for the angst...be prepared for a lot of confusion on Elena's side...be prepared for heartbreak and insecurities from Damon...be prepared for it all...but also be prepared for Damon and Elena to win against the universe. wow...what a love story! |

I actually like the way Damon's insecurities are being done compared to last seasons. He's fighting, he's trying not to get insecure, and he's not letting his insecurities shut him down like last season. They're much more subtle now.
