She said she wanted to be professional and not date a co-star but they had such a connection that they couldn't fight it anymore). Also, when TVD started, Ian had a girlfriend so they were just friends for a long time but then Ian broke up with his gf (we don't know why) and eventually they were dating Haha not sure how else to explain it because we don't have the inside details. Someone else can probably do better.Also one of their first public "dates" (I think it's safe to call it that) was the Lakers game in... April/May? For a whole year this board was like a detective book.A little clue here,a little sighting there.Putting all the clues together was so much fun. I think JenniferH made a timeline post with pictures and sightings.That post brought be here to the board. But the most fun was around Christmas 2010 when everybody were investigating mountain slopes in Idaho to prove that they were indeed together in Idaho.And then there was a fan pic with both of them from Sun valley,Idaho. |

Yeah, most proof points to them getting together in April/May of 2010.
I mentioned 2010 Comic-Con because I loved the overall vibe and feeling in the interviews, pics, etc. I thought there was an extra buzz and playfulness in their interactions. I thought Ian in particular was going to jump out of his skin.  He was also probably excited by the general Comic-Con atmosphere, but idk, whatever it was, it was exciting. Remember the cast photo-shoot?  |
