I just wanted to bring this over and say that yeah....I think labeling this as a "it's complicated" is where i'm at right now. I think when you have a situation that is complicated in any relationship or even life circumstance you have to get both side of the stories in order to be fair...and Pippa saying she doesn't want to say anything because she doesn't know Nina brings the likelihood of their realtionship being really complicated at the moment way up.


Of course the main reason for Pipa's lack of commenting is because it's unprofessional but I think her other "Nina" reasons tells me there's two sides to this story and she only knows Ian's side which implies that there is a story and it's not just black and white...yay or nay. But whatever it is....no one is sad and everyone is positive and we should be too. So if they decide to end it, or they decided to end it already then they're happy. If they decide to work on it, then they will. That's why Pipa was happy that we weren't as negative because whatever the situation may be neither Ian or Nina are negative so we shouldn't be either. That's how I intepreted it anyway.

Whilst Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder have stayed quiet on the reports that their romance is over, it has been confirmed to EntertainmentWise that The Vampire Diaries co-stars have indeed split. We caught up with actor Colton Haynes, who is in the UK to promote his new show Arrow, where we shared our upset over the ending of Nina and Ian's romance. Agreeing with us, the actor commented: "They are actually." However, it appears that there is no animosity between Nina and Ian as Colton continued: "But I'm sure they're really great friends", before adding that their split won't lead to an "awkward" atmosphere on the set of the hit vampire series they appear . Colton, 24, who has also appeared in Teen Wolf, said: "I think you become really good friends with that person when you see them everyday anyway so I think they obviously knew that getting into a relationship. "But I don't think it would be awkward for them. They are both well rounded people." Whilst the pair may no longer be together, Colton believes that Nina and Ian still love each other. He said: "Every time you're in a relationship and when you get out of one, I always think you still have a little bit of love left, so they'll be fine." But what if, despite a breakup or a break, it's still positive. I think no matter what at this point they are in a good place emotionally and I think Pipa and probably Ian and Nina too, just want the fans to be positive and to not worry, which they know we are.

I mean yeah Pipa's posts are overall positive but to me, that doesn't mean Ian and Nina are still together. I think it just means that it's all good no matter what happens. And since Pipa has stated that Ian knows about the drama, the question needs to be asked: why hasn't he denied the rumors in order to calm everyone's nerves if he knows about the drama over the rumors in the first place? He hasn't and I think that could be an indication that he can't deny something that's not totally false.

I don't know...I just think that there are signs that stuff isn't all peachy with their relationship but that they're happy where they are and are enjoying their summer.

ETA: And here's one more person to comment and confirm something that isn't even about them or their show. Really, I think it's high time Ian and Nina say something already it's getting ridiculous.
