I think part of it MAY be a "Damon is the most popular by far and it makes the triangle and the series unbalanced so let's take him down and boost Stefan up" reasoning and if it is, I hope they realize how much it is backfiring. It is NOT making Stefan more popular but rather making people who liked him turn on him or be fed up with him (and I'm not just talking of "prefer Damon" people I know pure Stefan fans who are bored and don't like what has been going on this season), it is also damaging the overall story and the show. IF they are not really setting this all up for some really shocking, daring moments to come and this was not all a part of "slow but steady" build-up but just "OMFG writing thrown in with stall tactics and a desperate attempt to make a character more popular" then I don't see myself watching for a 3rd season...

and YES!!! like i said i use to love him and now i can't even stand him... they make him out to be this perfect~ guy that can do nothing wrong and I'm just not buying it

I'm confused.. but if Katherine kidnap Elena tonight.. in the promo for episode 2x17 and 2x18 Stefan was talking with Damon when he said "Where is she?" right? Because I'm quite sure it was a scene of 2x18.. I'm so confused!!

Yeah looks like "Where is she" will be Stefan's new catch phrase (as those 2 scenes in the promos are different scenes). He spends his time looking for Elena on the mere occasions she is not right beside him and they are having a romantic day... I wonder where Elena keeps disappearing to...

Katherine is asking them for the moonstone they don't tell her anything and just sit there

i know we wanted DE scenes but any interaction is good.. i was thinking we'll get none today
