Hmm... that's difficult to answer. As of S2 I like the show well enough that I love doing rewatches for it and all that but I am not a fan of it the way I was a fan of TVD. I don't really rewatch it on my own or check spoilers etc, for one thing.. Besides I think it is rather consistent with the episodes, so I don't have a clear favorite one that comes to mind immediately, like one does with TVD. I guess as a general rule, I'd go with an epi from S2 though... S02E01 might be good to as it has the S1 previously and sets the stage for S2? Or ep 2, as things start to pick up more...

what do you think of Smallville vampires?
Watched a few eps of Teen Wolf, loved 111-112 cause of Derek. Certainly my favourite character, but I dont feel like sitting through anything else thats not his scene. Like Allison too though. |

So your son ships Clark and Lana too?? The vamp epi was a fun one but felt like a Halloween special epi that doesn't "perfectly" fit in with the rest of the story, you know? the fact I can't accept "kryptonite caused vampires" as an explanation probably is one of the reasons I see it as kind of AU, though...  I can never accept vampires being a creation of magic or aliens or meteors etc. etc.Very stuck in my "vampire origins" ways. On the other hand, I feel they needed to tell us more about the Smallville vamps and their powers etc. etc.__________________

I don't have a particular origins story I like, in a way I prefer there not to be, you could say... I just like vampires as a separate "species" that just "is". I have a problem with it when they are creations by a "third party" like aliens or witches etc. They should be on par with them not something made by them...
