I so hate the word doppelgangers... ugh.
I don't get it though, aren't they supposed to be blood related? I thought Zach was the only relative Salvatores had, and with him dead the line is dead. Where did the present-day dopplelganger come from? Did they have some relatives they didn't know about -kind of sounds hard, feel like they'd be keeping close tabs on them, it is not like they have that much to do. __________________

It's changed so much over time I don't even know at this point. B/c now this season they've made it seem like dopplegangers were more about nature than being related or something. I admit I haven't paid much attention to their story to know for sure.

I also don't get why it is the Stefan-Elena doppelgangers that the witches have to kill (but then it is not like I've been really watching this season)
. Are they saying there are no other doppelgangers in the whole world? If so, how are "doppelgangers" something nature created?__________________
