Not really. They were both being controlled by the siren but Damon's way of dealing was to turn off his humanity. So he ended up turning on Enzo & trying to kill him

Enzo was eventually able to escape while Damon's still captive... sort of

I hope so too! They did a good job w/fixing Enzo this season by putting him w/Bonnie & letting him be apart of the group. So now they need to fix Denzo
