Yeah I really think I'm going to like their friendship too, based on the description we have of Melanda from CTV. I love a good female friendship like Meredith and Cristina's friendship on GA, so I hope we get some good stuff with them. It sounds like Melanda's going to be Alex's rock while she's struggling with everything that's happening with Charlie and trying to balance that with her job at the same time.

Yeah, the description that we were given definitely makes Melanda seem like a good character and a great friend and with Charles going into a coma Alex is gonna need that best friend to help her out.

I really hope they don't put these girls in a love triangle and pit them against each other. One of my biggest pet peeves is when they ruin a good friendship b/c of a guy.

Oh gosh! No, no, just no. If Alex and Melanda both have to be in any sort of triangle I really hope they're in separate triangles and that they remain friends the whole series.

Exactly! To me two friends fighting over the same guy is just so overrated.
