One thing that really struck me while watching the movie was just how hugely popular Michael Jackson was when Thriller came out. It's amazing how different (translation: normal) he looked back then, and how he was considered a musical genius back then, and not the pathetic weird joke that he's now become.

Yeah I really don't know what happened...if he just dealt with his past and realized he was fine the way he was this all..wouldn't be a problem. His music was awesome and I think people still love it now, it's just that the person behind it has become sort of a joke.

speaking of MJ... I am still wondering why Thriller was not included in the soundtrack considering that it was one of the highlights of the movie.
I wasn't so successful of stopping the urge to watch it again on big screen.  __________________

Yay new thread!
 I hadn't watched the movie in a while and I watched it the other night with some friends and I have to say that I don't think I'll ever get sick of this movie. Jen is just too cute.  __________________

I hate, that after my recent ebay spending spree, I'm not allowed to order anything over the net. So, I'm going to be stuck with a soundtrack and DVD that are titled Suddenly 30 and not 13 Going on 30 thanks to the stupid title change here. It's just not the same man.

God, I feel your pain. I live in a country where they translate the title on pretty much every movie there is. So I know how much it sucks to have covers with an unoriginal title. Although, I usually order via net these days. Yeah, like I can wait til it comes here. Why they felt like doing it in Australia is beyond me, though.
Maybe you could wait til you're allowed to order over the net again. Unless that's too far into the future, heh. __________________

I can't work it out either. Usually the do it for movies that bombed in the States, to give it a bit of a new feel. But 13 Going on 30 didn't bomb, so that doesn't make sense.
Some non-Australian people have suggested that we don't use the phrase going on here, but we totally do. So I don't know. Saw this at Jen-Garner.net and thought it was good news and worth posting: Quote:
