Uh, no, I'm going by what I've heard from actual women.

Now, not all women's opinions will be in agreement because people are not monolithic, but from what I've heard and read from women is that bras can slow down the effects of gravity over time. This was especially true of baby boomer women who went through the whole bra-burning trend in the 1960s who later started seeing the effects in the 80s. Now Rita may disagree, but that doesn't mean that all other women are in agreement. Like I said, a woman received the first patent for a bra.
